Apex Legends Season 10 Patch Notes

New Character: Seer

With micro-drones and an artist's eye, Seer spots opportunities other characters might miss and seizes them in the most beautiful way he can.

Passive Ability: Heart Seeker

Visualize and hear the heartbeats of nearby enemies to get a clue to their location. Seer can "BOOST" even when he isn't holding a weapon.

Tactical Ability: Focus of Attention

Summon micro-drones to emit a focused, delayed blast that passes through walls, reveals enemies and also interrupts their actions.

Ultimate Ability: Exhibit

Create a sphere of micro-drones that reveals the footsteps of enemies who fire their weapons inside it.

Map Update

As nature takes back what is hers, the world has cracked and exploded. Hammond is working to contain the damage they caused using machines that control the weather: the Climatizer rapidly cools the surrounding area to below-zero temperatures, and a Lava Siphon stabilizes the caldera. Fight for control of the constantly moving gondolas on the Climatizer and Lava Siphon, carefully cross the bubbling hot lava and show everyone what legends are made of!

New Weapon: Rampage LMG

This high-powered heavy ammo Rampage LMG packages your enemies off to the afterlife. The Rampage excels in mid-range combat but struggles up close with its slower rate of fire.

Ranked Arena Mode

In Ranked Arenas, players will not pay any points. It will be a head-to-head fight between two teams of three, and you must win the match if you want to rank up.

Quality of Life Updates

• A new badge called Win Streak was added to the game. With this badge, players show other players how many battle royale games they have won in a row.

• A "Wait" response was added to enemy pings.
• Distinct sound effects were added to Gold Backpack respawns. Visual effects were added in the Chaos Theory update. This provides extra feedback to players when they are close to respawning but not in line of sight.
• The Heirloom shop was updated so players can better see all the items related to that item.
• The Open Pack button was updated to show how many packs of each type can be opened.

Custom Matches

• Added an Admin Switch option for Target Assist Mode.
• Added a lite Red Zone Filter for Observers in Freecam.
• Added custom end variants to map/mode selection.
• Added more Arena maps to map/mode selection.
• Fixed a Fixed Observer script bug encountered in Arenas.
• Fixed multiple script bugs for Observers and Players in BR.
• Fixed more real-time API event reporting.

Character Update

Fuse

• Fuse's teammates will see enemies remaining inside Fuse's Motherlode ability.
• Knuckle Cluster Tactical explosion duration increased by 100%.
• Grenadier Passive can be toggled on and off to throw ammo as normal.

Horizon

• The slowdown after the first Black Hole pull was reduced.
• Horizon's gravity lift speed was increased to 9.1.

Revenant

• When the Ultimate ability "Death Totem" protection is about to end, other players will see and hear a visual and audio cue.
• A brief slow was added after being recalled to the "Death Totem".

Caustic

• Gas damage starts at 5, increasing by 1 with each tick indefinitely.
• Tactical cooldown reduced from 25s ->20s.
• Ultimate cooldown reduced from 3.5m -> 3m. Duration reduced from 20 seconds -> 15 seconds.

Weapon Updates

This season the Prowler returns to ground loot, replacing the M600 Spitfire. In addition to the Spitfire, another weapon will join the supply drop this season: the Alternator SMG

Hop-Ups

Increases reload speed and overloads the next magazine with extra bullets. This hop-up can be equipped on the Hemlok Burst AR and Wingman.

Fully Kitted Weapons

Added: Peacekeeper, Rampage, RE-45, Flatline and Charge Rifle

Removed: Wingman, Bocek, R99, Hemlock and Sentinel
