Tactics for New BT2 Players: Best Settings!
Which Weapons Can I Take?
In BT2, you are allowed to carry the following weapons:
- 2 primary weapons of any type
- 2 grenades of any type
- 1 pistol and 1 melee
Generally, your bag should have 1 automatic weapon and 1 sniper. In special cases such as Zombie and future PvE modes, you can use 2 automatic weapons to maximize your DPS and camping time.
What Are the Weapon Types in the Game?
- Assault Rifles: Provide adequate recoil, bullet speed and aiming accuracy.
- Battle Rifles: A hybrid of AR and Sniper weapons that can beat most enemies with 2 body shots.
- Sniper Rifles: 1 shot, 1 kill (these weapons have about 190 damage).
- SMG: Extremely fast fire rate, excellent hip-fire accuracy but extremely low bullet speed, recommended only for short-to-medium range.
- Machine Gun: A big magazine that allows longer firing time, suitable for camping purposes such as Deathmatch choke points, Zombies or PvE. These weapons have even worse hip-fire accuracy than ARs, but only slightly higher aiming recoil, offset by the big magazine size.
- Shotgun: Any pump action or having very little ammo is 1 shot, 1 kill. A magazine-fed shotgun generally needs at least 2 hits to beat an enemy.
- Pistols: Excellent hip-fire accuracy but low damage, with the same poor bullet speed as SMGs. Any semi-automatic pistol deals extremely high damage in Zombie mode (400 damage per headshot)
