NGL.Link (Android, iOS): Anonymous Feedback App for Instagram Users

We mentioned this app in an earlier article. The app works with Instagram, so your Instagram followers can chat with you anonymously or ask you questions. First, you need to download the NGL app and sign up, which requires your Instagram identity. It doesn't ask for access to any Instagram data or your password. The app generates a link for your account that you can share on an Instagram story. Anyone who taps the link in the story, even people without the NGL app, can send you a message. Messages arrive completely anonymously in your NGL inbox. You can't reply to them privately, but you can reply and share the reply on Instagram.

Tellonym (Web, Android, iOS): Anonymous Comment Network (What Is Tellonym? How Do You Use It?)

Tellonym is a solid alternative to the NGL app. It's been around since 2016 and can also be used through a web browser. You can send a message to anyone on the app. Feedback you receive lands in your "inbox," and all replies go through your public feed. On Tellonym, you can also add users as friends to build an anonymous network. Your Tellonym profile page has a space where you can set your current status, add a question, or get feedback on a topic. You can also add your various social media links to your profile.

Tusk (Web): Anonymous App for Gathering Feedback

Tusk is one of the simplest ways to set up an online space for getting anonymous feedback. Without signing up, you can create a custom domain for your feedback page, and add an optional comment or description if you want to guide respondents or ask a question. You then need to share the link with the people giving feedback. Anyone who opens the link can leave a comment in your feedback box. You can also read other feedback instead of adding a comment. Each Tusk link stays active for only three days. After that, the domain, description and all feedback submissions are permanently deleted.
