TFT Set 6 has finally arrived. There are plenty of options for learning about the best comps and meta comps, so finding the meta is quite difficult. Don't worry, we have put together a list of the best TFT Set 6 comps you should try from Day 1.
This set will keep players on their toes more than any other set. As in earlier sets, every game will be about adapting to what you are given.
However, there are a few strong comps you should test at the start of TFT Set 6 to get an edge over your opponents. The developers' favorites are:

TFT Set 6 Meta Comps

Mutant - Malzahar

Lead TFT developer Stephen 'Mortdog' Mortimer admitted he has had a soft spot for Malzahar since the game began. That didn't stop in Set 6, which came with a brand-new Mutant setup that really lets him shine.
  • "I'm biased, but when you take the Astro variation, my favorite is Malzahar with Hextech Gunblade and 5 Mutant. That way the mana cost becomes 20, he puts DOT everywhere and heals your team," he explained.
  • This combination is very important. Hextech Gunblade makes your Malzahar nearly unkillable, especially when he always casts his spells on low mana thanks to the Synaptic Web enhancement.
However, if the Mutant enhancement in that game doesn't favor you, there are still plenty of carry options. You can also get a fairly strong team by trying Kog'Maw and a Kai'Sa carry.

Yordle - Vex

Yordle will definitely be a very popular comp at the launch of TFT Set 6. With its trait that gives every unit three stars and the chance to reveal the hidden Yordle-Lord, Veigar, that outcome will become something every player wants.

  • Developer TJ 'GreenTeej' Bourus said, "I just love reroll comps, and playing with 'Yordle' [Veigar] is so much fun."
  • If you manage to get 3 Yordles ready by 2-1, it is even better if you have a two-star Ziggs or Poppy. Once you achieve that, you can definitely head toward this hyper roll fantasy. Running Vex (great with Titan's Resolve) or a Heimerdinger carry works, but you will also want to save some items for Veigar.

Bruiser Jinx

''We found the most success in TFT Set 6 playtesting by running Bruiser comps,'' say the developers. The evolution of the Brawler trait now gives bonus health to all allies, making it a great scaling comp in the late game as well.
  • Depending on whether you find a Spatula, you can choose to run 6 Bruiser or 8 Bruiser. However, you will need to run a few from each origin, including Vi, Trundle, Cho'Gath and Dr Mundo.
  • Vi is important because she activates the Sister trait with Jinx and scales them both. Trundle also lets you play 2 Scrap, while Cho'Gath and Dr. Mundo push you toward 3 Mutant if you find a Spatula or Emblem.
Couldn't find Jinx? There are still plenty of carries that can replace her: you can play great games with 3 Mutant thanks to Kog'Maw, Cho'Gath and Dr Mundo, or with Kai'Sa and Jayce. They all share similar items, so it is a very adaptable comp.
