Brawl Stars Buzz: Abilities, Best Maps and Matchups

Brawl Stars Season 7 has arrived, and two new brawlers have been added to the game. One of them is Buzz, a new short-range brawler found in the Brawl Pass. Buzz has an interesting playstyle, and players may have trouble learning his attack pattern at first. That said, we've put together a detailed guide on how to get good with Buzz in Brawl Stars quickly.

How Can I Get Buzz in Brawl Stars?

Players who own the Brawl Pass will be able to unlock Buzz once they reach level 30.

Ice-Cold Slap (Basic Attack) - Buzz

Buzz throws five quick slaps in a wide arc

Torpedo Launch (Super) - Buzz

Buzz throws a torpedo buoy. If it hits an opponent or a wall, Buzz pulls himself to that spot and stuns nearby enemies where he lands.

Backup Buoy (Gadget) - Buzz

This gadget, which you can get from Brawl Boxes once you reach level 7, instantly recharges the Super, but the next torpedo launch won't stun opponents.

Power Torpedo (Star Power) - Buzz

This Star Power, which you can get from Brawl Boxes once you reach level 9, increases the minimum stun duration of Buzz's Super by 0.5 seconds.

Buzz's high hit power makes up for his short attack range. When playing Buzz, the main goal should be to use his Super to reach targets quickly and take them out as fast as possible. Using his Gadget instantly recharges his Super, which can be a great tactic for catching enemies off guard. However, Buzz's attack animation isn't linear, so it may take you a bit of time to get used to it.

One of the best ways to play Buzz aggressively is to hide in a bush and then use his Super to lock onto targets instantly. Buzz has the edge in Solo Showdown, Duo Showdown, and Brawl Ball, since he can grab onto many structures, giving him a higher chance of success in those types of matches. However, he seems to struggle badly against brawlers who can consistently deal damage from long range and avoid getting caught by him.
