What Are the Features of the CS2 Pool Day Map?

It's a community map made for Counter-Strike. It was remade by the community for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and was planned to be part of Operation Payback, but was cut before the Operation launched.

The original Counter-Strike map was a very popular community map thanks to its fast, tight gameplay. It was ported to Counter-Strike: Source and Global Offensive by various creators. Now it's taken its place in the newest game, CS2.

Community Maps

  • Added community maps Thera and Mills to the Competitive, Casual and Deathmatch map groups.
  • Added community maps Memento and Assembly to the Wingman map pool.
  • Added community map Pool Day to the Arms Race map pool.

Nuke

  • Fixed C4 stuck spots

Ancient

  • Fixed C4 stuck spots, holes in the world, and non-solid objects causing issues

Vertigo

  • Fixed C4 stuck spots and clipping

Anubis

  • Grenade collision and clipping fixes

User Interface

  • Updated the MVP panel across all game modes.
  • Added brand new animated MVP panels for Premier matches.
  • Added several new MVP conditions and revised previous MVP rules.

Gameplay

  • In Competitive Matchmaking, per-map skill groups now appear after two wins on a map instead of 10.

Video Settings

  • Settings Suggestions
    • Added a Settings Suggestion popup if your display's refresh rate is initially set below its maximum. It's generally recommended to use your display's highest refresh rate.
    • Added a Settings Suggestion popup if NVIDIA G-Sync support is detected but not initially enabled. It's generally recommended to use G-Sync if your system supports it.
    • Added a Settings Suggestion popup if NVIDIA G-Sync is enabled but V-Sync and/or NVIDIA Reflex are not enabled. It's generally recommended to enable all three settings together where available. Applying these settings will cap your frame rate at or slightly below your display's refresh rate, which is generally the smoothest-looking combination of settings with the lowest input lag.
  • Removed the "Main Menu Background Scene" and "Item Inspection Background Scene" settings from the Video Settings page. These settings are still available on the Main Menu and Item Inspection screens respectively.
  • The "Refresh Rate" setting now shows your display's current refresh rate in Windowed and Fullscreen Windowed modes.
  • Removed the "Laptop Power Savings" setting.
  • Added a "Frame Rate" section to the Advanced Video settings page.
  • Added an "NVIDIA G-Sync" row to the Frame Rate section that tells you whether G-Sync is active with your current display settings. This row may be hidden if you're using the Vulkan renderer or not using an NVIDIA graphics card.
  • Added "Max In-Game FPS" and "Max FPS in Menus" sliders to the Frame Rate section.
  • Raised the default "Max FPS in Menus" setting from 120 FPS to 200 FPS.
  • The Advanced Video visual preview now uses the "In-Game" max FPS instead of the "In-Menu" max.
