Capcom, from Resident Evil remakes to new Monster Hunter games, continues to produce many new games. Now there is good news for Dead Rising fans. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster has been announced! In our article, we will cover all the details we know, from the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster release date to its gameplay.

What Are the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster/Dead Rising Gameplay Changes?

Dead Rising is a series of comedy-horror video games in which players fight zombie hordes at once. In the game, players collect various tools and combine them to create deadly zombie-killing weapons.

Also, the developers have added an autosave feature to the game, meaning the game will save whenever players reach a turning point in the story, such as completing a mission.  

The biggest change in the game is the addition of the ability to move while aiming the weapon. In the original game, players could not move while aiming; now this feature will be available in the new version.

Capcom developed this remaster using the RE Engine. This is the game engine they used to develop all the recent Resident Evil games, and even Monster Hunter Wilds uses the same engine.

The developers announced that the game will run at 4K and 60 FPS on new-generation consoles.

Is the Release Date Known? When Will It Come Out?

Capcom announced that the digital version of the game will be released on September 19, 2024. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

• Dead Rising 2 (2010): In the second game, players control Chuck Greene, a motorcycle racer. While Chuck tries to survive the zombie infestation to save his daughter and clear his own name, he also tries to solve the mystery behind the outbreak. The game offers new weapons and a bigger open world.
• Dead Rising 3 (2013): The third game takes players controlling Nick Ramos, a young mechanic, to the city of Los Perdidos. In this game there is a huge zombie infestation in the city, and Nick combines various vehicles and weapons to survive. The game offers a wider open world and more opportunities to explore.
• Dead Rising 4 (2016): In this game about Frank West's return, players go back to the Willamette shopping mall. The game is set during the holiday season and offers players more weapons, vehicles and customization options.

• Extensive Story Modes: Each game has an extensive story mode where players must complete main story missions. The story generally involves investigating the origin of the zombies and the mystery behind the outbreak.
