eFootball PES 2022's release date and time for PC on Steam is 00:00 BST on September 30.

Meanwhile, the Microsoft Store suggests it will launch on Xbox the same day at 01:00 BST. The PlayStation Store says the Premium Player pack will unlock at midnight on November 11, so expect the base game to also start at 00:00 BST on September 30 on PS4 and PS5.

The iOS and Android versions will be released with the first major update, planned to arrive in the autumn months after the game's launch.

The base game's release date is September 30, but the game's website says you won't be able to claim chance draws until November 11. Your in-game currency also won't be usable until November 18.

Neymar Becomes eFootball Ambassador

The official eFootball Twitter account announced that Neymar Jr. is the newest ambassador of the eFootball series. This also means Konami has secured all of Neymar Jr.'s rights within eFootball.

EA Sports has secured a partnership with Paris Saint-Germain through 2024, meaning they'll have full licensing for players, kits, badges, the team name, and more.

However, with Neymar becoming eFootball's ambassador, we may be seeing Konami change its Cover Star strategy.

Given his exciting playing style for European giants PSG as well as his global fame, we believe Neymar is now the frontrunner to become eFootball's Cover Star.
