FM 22 Beta Release, New Features and Wonderkids

The Football Manager game series keeps racking up tremendous success, and we have no doubt that will continue when FM22 launches later this year.

When Will the FM 22 Beta Release Come Out?

The Football Manager community plays an inseparable role in the development of the FM series, and that will continue to be the case for FM 22.

Sports Interactive will once again release a playable beta version roughly three or four weeks before the game launches.

This helps SI iron out every bug in the latest build, and it delivers a more enjoyable experience once the final release comes out.

What New Features Are Coming to FM 22?

SI always adds new features to the game, and we have no doubt it will do the same for FM 22.

Finer tuning of how your background staff, meaning your coaches, interact with your players, along with the introduction of new staff roles such as a sports psychologist, are on the table.

While the match engine for FM 22 needs to work better, especially on counter-attacks and set pieces, it wouldn't hurt to loosen up club philosophies and the in-game issues that crop up all the time a bit.

Many club boards stick rigidly to a stated philosophy regardless of whether results on the pitch come from a different style of play.

The criticism aimed at players in FM 21 for being overly sensitive needs to be revisited, and team talks need improving as well.

Will FM22 Bring Better Improvements?

Even though SI can't perfect every element of the FM series every time, it wouldn't be fair to say they aren't working to create the perfect management simulation.

For anyone who wants to lose themselves in the world of football management, there's no better place than the Football Manager series, and that doesn't look like it will change any time soon.
