FM 24 Licensing, Face Pack Update December 2023! FM 24 Small Update 2023!

Following the game's first major patch released a week earlier, Sports Interactive has released another small update for Football Manager 2024 (FM 24).

The 24.2 Update covered all platforms. It brought improvements to the match engine, gameplay, UI behavior, competitions and licensing, along with fixes across many areas of the game.

However, the new small update only applies to PC and Mac and brings a handful of minor changes to the game.

FM 24 24.2.1 Update Patch Notes

The Football Manager 2024 update is now available to download on PC and Mac via Epic, Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Two main issues were fixed, including players incorrectly appearing identical to one another and the post-match analysis report only showing a single key finding.

Small Update 24.2.1 also fixes several other issues, such as a bug that caused users who had resigned to remain responsible for their club's B Teams.

Licensing / Database

• Removed some duplicated player photos in Japan.
• Database changes in Germany.

Match Engine

• Fixed an issue causing all players in the game to look identical.

Bug Fixes

• Various stability fixes.
• Korean currency now displays in the correct short/long format.
• Restored the option to use a custom manager profile picture.
• Updated NewGen UIDs on the backend.
• Fixed the post-match analysis report only showing a single key finding.
• Fixed users remaining responsible for B Teams after resigning.

Editor

• Fixed an issue with custom ratings not appearing in-game.

Football Manager (FM) is a sports management simulation game series that receives ongoing updates. FM is released with a new edition every year, and developer Sports Interactive regularly releases patches and updates to reflect the game's current state and the real-world football landscape.
