Gotham Knights is an open-world action-adventure game set in a universe where Batman is dead. Gotham Knights doesn't have an official release date yet, but the game is expected to come out in 2022. The game was originally supposed to launch in 2021, but it was delayed because the developers wanted to give "more time to deliver the best possible experience to players".

Gotham Knights: Characters

Four playable characters have been confirmed for the game: Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood.
As revealed at DC FanDome in June 2021, every playable character will have their own unique playstyle and abilities in the game, such as Robin being able to teleport through the Justice League's satellite.
Whether there will be any DLC content for the game, or whether players will be able to use Batman in the game, hasn't been confirmed yet. Since the game is set after the death of Bruce Wayne, this is unlikely, but fan-made mods for PC could mean the Dark Knight can be used as an in-game skin.
The new game can be played solo, but will also include a two-player co-op multiplayer mode, meaning the second player can drop in and out without negatively affecting overall progress.
