Did GTA 6's Second Trailer Release on October 4?

GTA 6 October 2024 Leak! Is the 2nd Trailer Coming on October 4th?

Every new rumor about Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is met with excitement by players and fans. More than 300 days have passed since Rockstar Games released the first official trailer for the next game in the series. No official word has been given yet on when the second trailer will arrive. But that hasn't stopped the community from speculating. Especially in recent days, a large portion of fans believe that GTA 6's second trailer will release on October 4, 2024.

This belief is based on an update made to GTA Online and a detail that stood out within that update. So what is the source of these rumors, and is there really a chance they're true? Let's take a closer look.

GTA 6 October 2024 Leak

At the center of the rumors is an update made to Rockstar Games' online game, GTA Online. On July 25, 2024, Rockstar added a new vehicle to GTA Online: the Pegassi Pizza Boy scooter. This scooter let players take part in pizza delivery missions and seemed like ordinary GTA Online content. But, as always, sharp-eyed GTA fans noticed a detail on this new scooter.

Looking closely at the Pizza Boy scooter's license plate, it read "PIZZ4," with the number "4" used in place of the letter "A." Additionally, the top left corner of the plate had the text "Oct," indicating that the plate's registration expired in October. This is exactly where a spark went off among fans, and a theory was born: could this be a hidden hint from Rockstar Games about GTA 6's second trailer?

Fans began to think that the number 4 used in "PIZZ4" on the plate could be a reference to October 4th, and that October 4, 2024 would be the stage for a major GTA 6 announcement. As this theory quickly spread, many news outlets also began watching this date closely. So how likely is this theory to be true?

Is the GTA 6 2nd Trailer Coming on October 4th?

It's hard to give a clear answer to this question, but based on the available data, it doesn't seem likely that GTA 6's second trailer will release on October 4, 2024. Rockstar Games regularly adds content to GTA Online, and this content is usually tied to in-game events or game modes. The pizza delivery mission appears to be just one of these pieces of content.

However, that doesn't mean Rockstar Games has never used GTA Online to promote GTA 6. Previously, hints about the release date of the first trailer were given through in-game items. Fans solved those hints. So the possibility that Rockstar Games could use a similar promotional method again can't be ruled out.

Rockstar Games usually makes its big announcements through its own official channels. So, to find out whether there's any new development regarding GTA 6, we'll need to keep an eye on Rockstar's official social media accounts...
