GTA 6 Weapons Could Resemble RDR 2's System

GTA 6 Weapons Could Resemble RDR 2!

GTA 6 may be one of the most eagerly awaited titles out there, but lately questions about whether it will actually arrive on its stated date, or get pushed back further, have started to stir things up. Now, the latest rumors about the game suggest that GTA 6 is following Red Dead Redemption 2's approach to carrying weapons. Will GTA 6's weapon setup resemble RDR 2? Let's take a look.

GTA 6 Weapons Could Resemble RDR 2!

Rockstar Games isn't known only for Grand Theft Auto. The studio also has another major franchise called Red Dead Redemption.

However, in Red Dead Redemption 2 the weapon system is a bit different from GTA. Arthur Morgan, who focuses on realism, can carry up to two handguns on his person, while larger weapons have to be either holstered or kept ready elsewhere.

But if this were to apply to GTA 6, would fans actually like the change?

Whether GTA 6 will follow Red Dead Redemption 2 on weapons, or bring back the series' iconic weapon wheel, isn't clear yet.

Some fans find RDR 2's approach to weapon storage quite fitting for GTA 6, while others argue it wouldn't be realistic.

Even though GTA has let you carry a duffel bag for your weapons or stash them in your car's trunk before, this could create more hassle than players would want. We'll have to wait and see how Rockstar Games handles this.
