GTA Online: The Chop Shop Update Patch Notes! GTA Online December 2023 Update

GTA Online's newest free update, Chop Shop, is now available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Chop Shop brings in Yusuf and Jamal Amir from Liberty City, along with a new business venture players can join: the Salvage Yard. According to Rockstar Games, players will now be able to steal, strip and sell cars through the new Salvage Yard Robberies. There are also major updates across vehicles in general, including new drift modifications for Drift Racing, the Vinewood Club Garage for storage, and more. Salvage Yard

"Behind Red's Auto Parts' extinct-looking facade lies the untapped potential of an intricate heist operation. Combine your skills with Yusuf's eye for exotic automobiles, and the new Salvage Yard job serves as the perfect front. Unassuming enough not to draw suspicion, but fully equipped with everything you'll need to pull off breathtaking heists on the most sought-after vehicles in Southern San Andreas, courtesy of the authorities.

Salvage Yard Robberies

Jamal's operation includes a weekly rotation of heists and target vehicles that Yusuf has his eye on for his collection. Each heist requires researching some initial intel, completing Prep Missions, Free Mode Missions and results in a high-speed Finale. While you may be able to identify the target vehicle by its flashy custom plate, these heist plans will call for a wide range of techniques and skills, from disguise and stealth work to computer hacking and piracy. On top of disabling countermeasures, you'll need reliable driving skills and split-second decision-making in the heat of the chase.

New Vehicles

Chop Shop brings in plenty of new vehicles for players to get their hands on, including a new Grotti supercar, the Turismo Omaggio, and a new SUV with Imani Tech capabilities. But the most popular addition will probably be the new off-the-grid Law Enforcement Vehicles.

GTA+ Offer - Vinewood Club Garage

GTA+ Members on consoles will also get access to The Vinewood Club Garage. This new offer includes 100 slots for storing and showcasing vehicles. The garage is located in Pillbox Hill. GTA+ Members can also get the new Declasse Impaler LX muscle car for free from the garage's podium or from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.

GTA Online: Drift Racing

Drift Racing, previously exclusive to LS Car Meet members, is now open to all players. There are seven locations across Los Santos where players can race while trying to master Drift Racing in GTA. Players can also customize their vehicles with special tuning kits to get the perfect feel behind the wheel.
