Horizon Forbidden West: How Do You Get Legendary Weapons?
Forgefall, The Blast Forge and Death-Seeker's Shadow are bought with medals at The Maw of the Arena (in the middle of the map), southwest of Scalding Spear. You can earn medals by performing well in the Hunting Grounds or combat arenas, and then buy these weapons from the arena merchant.
Meanwhile, The Wings of the Ten is rewarded for finding all the black box audio recorders around the world. There are 12 in total, and you must first start this collectible chain by talking to a female adventurer at Memorial Grove. The Sun Scourge can be yours after you eliminate all the rebel camps and forward outposts. You will unlock a side quest that serves as the final quest for this task, and then The Sun Scourge will be unlocked.
The Skykiller is earned by completing the quest called The Way Home, which you can get by talking to the women on the boat at Legacy's Landfall, but you must first complete the Twins cauldron to unlock a certain mount.
To get the Carja's Bane warrior bow, you will need to look for the Gauntlet races, the first of which you will come across in the deserts outside Scalding Spear.
Finally, Ancestor's Return is earned by finding all nine ornaments in the open world, which are the rewards for completing all the Relic Ruins. But note that to fully complete this chain you must also complete the Nights of Lights quest in Stillsands.
