LG 28MQ780 Monitor Specs and Release Date

South Korean tech giant LG has announced its new 28MQ780 monitor, aimed mainly at professionals. Looking like it's actually two monitors in one thanks to its 16:18 aspect ratio, the device also looks set to turn heads with its technical specs.

What Are the LG 28MQ780 Monitor's Technical Specs?

LG's monitor, codenamed 28MQ780, offers a 2,560 x 2,880 pixel (SDQHD) resolution. Featuring a Nano IPS panel, the monitor's 27.6-inch size also gives users plenty of screen real estate. Covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, the device has a brightness rating of 300 nits. Perhaps the most striking part of LG's new monitor is its nearly bezel-less design. With 2 HDMI ports and 1 DisplayPort input, the LG 28MQ780 also draws power through its USB Type-C port. The monitor also features two 7-watt stereo speakers backed by MAXXAUDIO, removing the need for users to add external speakers. The monitor comes with a stand that lets users adjust height, tilt, and swivel.
