Mid Lane Tier List - Who Should You Play in LoL Patch 12.04?
Best Mid Lane in LoL Patch 12.04: No. 3 – Talon

Assassins haven't been very strong since the addition of Crown of the Shattered Queen. The only other lethal contender, Qiyana, is getting nerfed in this patch, while Talon performs very well in it.
The jungle meta is a big reason for Talon's dominance. Meta junglers like Xin Zhao or Jarvan IV are all about map rotations, so Talon pairs very well with them because he can follow up. That makes for a fairly destructive Mid-Jungle duo in ranked.
Best Mid Lane in LoL Patch 12.04: No. 2 – Fizz
Fizz has almost never been viable, but this patch is one of the first in which he is incredibly strong.
Incredibly easy to pilot and strong in every phase of the game, Fizz is one of the most consistent Assassins you can lock in. Part of that is that he is super safe with his E, so he is really hard to punish. In the right hands, Fizz can easily build leads and turn them into Victory, and he is definitely a good pick, no matter how easy he is.
Best Mid Lane in LoL Patch 12.04: No. 1 – Ahri

Ahri received a rework in the last patch, which gave her R a reset mechanic and increased her durability. Even though she is skillshot dependent, Ahri is easily the strongest mid laner, and perhaps even the top champion of the entire patch. With good management of her abilities and a bit of charm, Ahri will win you every game with ease.
In most games, we recommend building Liandry's Torment, because the burn makes the reset much easier and lets her play like a battle mage. Luden's is fun but not as good in most cases. Also, make sure you max W!
Mid Tier List in LoL Patch 12.04: Other Mid Champions
S-Tier picks are well above the rest, but there are still other good picks in this patch. Let's try to find the best champions to play if the S-Tier picks are unavailable.
A-Tier Mid Picks for Patch 12.04 A-Tier champions tend to be quite good and are home to many late-game scaling champions. In Patch 12.04, mid lane tends to feature champions with wave clear who outclass assassins.
Anivia - Win Rate: 53.52%, Pick Rate: 3.13% Corki - Win Rate: 51.4%, Pick Rate: 5.7% Lux- Win Rate: 52.45%, Pick Rate: 7.84% Kassadin - Win Rate: 52.29%, Pick Rate: 9.62% Viktor- Win Rate: 51.29%, Pick Rate: 5.54% Veigar - Win Rate: 52.05%, Pick Rate: 7.67% Corki and Viktor are no longer exactly S-Tier, but they are still incredibly strong. Make sure you land the first hit and play safe, and they scale very quickly. In Patch 12.04, there is no safer late-game scaling champion in mid lane than Corki.
