LoL 13.18 PBE Patch Notes Preview: Briar and Balance Changes (Sept 2023)

LoL 13.18 patch notes will be one of the biggest patch notes in the game. As the League of Legends World Championship approaches, Riot Games is making more changes that will also affect the pro meta. With these patch notes we will get new skins, a new champion and some new updates. Let's see when the LoL 13.18 patch notes will arrive.

Bard

P - Traveler's Call

• Out-of-combat movement speed from Chime collection
  • Max Stacks: 5 >>> 10
  • Stack Duration: 7 >>> 20

W - Caretaker's Shrine

• The spell now uses charges - Max 2
• Cooldown / Ammo Recharge Time: 14 >>> 18
• Shrine Time to Full Charge: 10 >>> 5
• Shrine Movement Speed: 30% decaying over 1.5 seconds >>> 20% +2.5% per level

Caitlyn

P - Headshot

• Critical Ratio Formula: (62.5% crit damage x 130% crit chance) >>> (100% crit damage x 81.25% crit chance)

• AP: 70 >>> 85 (90 - 105 for the Ornn version)

LoL 13.18 PBE Patch Notes: New Champion Briar

Briar's Abilities

Passive – Crimson Curse

• Briar's attacks and abilities apply a bleed that heals her for a portion of the damage dealt
• Because she is constantly hungry, she gets more healing based on her missing health, but lacks innate health regeneration.
• She also heals for the remaining bleed damage when a bleeding enemy dies.

Q - Head Rush

• Briar leaps at a unit, dealing damage, stunning it and shattering its armor
• If Briar uses this ability on a minion or monster during the W - Blood Frenzy effect, she will stop prioritizing enemy champions

W - Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack

• Briar lunges forward and shatters her yoke, entering Blood Frenzy, which makes her relentlessly chase the nearest enemy (prioritizing champions)
• While frenzied, she gains attack speed and movement speed, and her attacks damage the area around her target.
• Briar can reactivate this ability while frenzied to tear apart her target on her next attack, dealing bonus damage based on the target's missing health and healing herself based on the damage dealt.

E - Chilling Scream

• By removing W - Blood Frenzy, Briar refocuses her mind and channels her energy into a powerful scream that damages and slows enemies
• She takes less damage while charging and heals for a portion of her maximum health
• A fully charged scream knocks enemies back for additional damage and stuns enemies who hit a wall

R - Certain Death

• Briar throws a hemolite kick, marking the first champion she hits as her prey
• Then, on arrival, she fears the other enemies around them, heads straight for them and enters a full state of hematomania.
• She will chase her prey until one of them dies, and gains additional Armor, Magic Resist, Life Steal and Movement Speed on top of the Blood Frenzy effects.

LoL 13.18 PBE Patch Notes: New Legendary Content

Riot will also add a new rotation to the Mythic Shop in LoL Patch 13.18. In this patch, you will not only get new Prestige skins, but Riot will also add a brand-new Legendary skin from the new Legendary skin line. Crystalis Motus Leona has been in the shop for the last few weeks, but it is now time to say goodbye to the Leona skin and welcome the Taliyah skin instead.

The skin will be on sale in the Mythic Shop for 100 Mythic Essence, along with a ward skin, an icon and much more.
