As of February 2022, after reaching level 50 in Lost Ark, you should finish the main story to Shushire, unlock your Awakening skill, do daily Chaos Dungeons, Guardian Raids and Una's Tasks, and unlock Abyssal Dungeons at item level 340. Reaching level 50 is only the start in Lost Ark, but it can be hard to know what to focus on next. Lost Ark is packed with quests to complete, loot to obtain and collectibles to find. There are so many different things you can do after reaching level 50 and unlocking endgame content that it can be hard to sort out what you should do. So what do you need to do in Lost Ark after level 50? Let's look together!
Lost Ark: Endgame Guide
Continue the Main Quest

You will reach level 50 well before the game's main story is over, but that does not mean you should give up on completing the main quest (shown with a blue orb icon). The real point you will want to reach is Vern Castle. At this point, once you hit level 50, you will be able to start unlocking endgame activities such as Chaos Dungeons, as well as the gear honing system. That said, you will probably want to continue and complete the entire North Vern story and then move on to the Shushire region, which becomes accessible when you unlock the Icebreaker ship. You will have to complete the Shushire main story quests anyway to access higher content levels, and completing the main quest there will earn you a complete set of upgradable 302 item level endgame gear.
Unlock the First Class Awakening Skill
At some point after reaching level 50, you will want to teleport to Trixion to talk to Beatrice and accept a quest that unlocks your first Awakening skill as well as your class's last regular skill. Each class's Awakening quest is slightly different, but consider this quest chain absolutely necessary to unlock your class's full potential. Do it sooner or later. Eventually, when you advance your character's item level further, you will be able to unlock a second Awakening skill by traveling to the Rohendel region.
Do Your Daily Chores

Once you complete the Shushire main story quest and unlock your Awakening skill, Lost Ark's real endgame grind begins. You will want to upgrade your 302 item level gear further to access new content, and to do so you will need a great many upgrade materials. Specifically, you will need Harmony Shards, Harmony Leapstones, Guardian Stone Shards and Destruction Stone Shards. To get them, you will need to do endgame activities such as Chaos Dungeons, Guardian Raids and Una's Tasks. The trick is that these tasks can only be done a certain number of times per day/week. Chaos Dungeons are endgame encounters where you must defeat waves of enemies within a time limit. You can do them twice a day. Next up are Guardian Raids, Monster Hunter-like fights against giant magical monsters. These can also be done twice a day. The third main activity you will want to try and complete every day is Una's Tasks, short quests around the world that give various rewards. You can do three daily Una's Tasks and three weekly Una's Tasks. They do not take especially long, but you will want to make sure you pick tasks that reward you with the upgrade materials mentioned above to progress your character.
Complete the Abyssal Dungeons
The next step in your endgame journey will be unlocking Abyssal Dungeons, which become available when you advance the main story past North Vern and also reach item level 340. These are harder versions of dungeons you completed as part of the game's main story, and although they can be challenging, they also offer great rewards. Each Abyssal Dungeon you have access to can be completed once a week. From them you will get even more upgrade materials, as well as a currency that can be used to buy a higher-quality set of endgame gear.
Explore the Islands
If you have completed all your daily and weekly tasks and are wondering what to do next, the answer is islands. The various islands in the world of Arkesia will reward you with different materials, many of which will reward you with the same upgrade materials earned from endgame activities like Guardian Raids and Chaos Dungeons. Most islands are always accessible, but there are also limited-time island events from time to time, and they are worth it.
Keep Up Your Rapport
Although it is certainly not critical, you should be making progress toward the Rapport level of an NPC of your choice on a daily basis. What is Rapport? Essentially, it is a friendship meter that certain NPCs have, which can be filled by giving them gifts, playing music or performing certain emotes. Reaching certain Rapport thresholds with NPCs will give you various rewards, including coveted items such as gold, cards, cosmetics and more. You only get so many Rapport actions per day, so it is best not to let them go to waste. That said, not all NPCs are created equal when it comes to Rapport. You will want to focus your attention on NPCs that give gold, an important endgame currency, as well as Giant's Hearts, which can be exchanged for skill point potions.
Level Up Your Stronghold
Lost Ark's base-building part may not be the most exciting aspect of the game, but it is still a critical part of the endgame experience. You can produce endgame potions, food and account-wide perks from the Stronghold, and you need to keep researching various recipes and upgrades to level up your Stronghold. A higher-level Stronghold unlocks more recipes and upgrades to learn. The Stronghold can sometimes drain some resources, but making sure you have a constant supply of consumables such as potions and bombs is the key to surviving some of Lost Ark's tougher endgame content.
