How Do Gifts Work in Marvel's Midnight Suns?

Gifts in Marvel's Midnight Suns work as they do in other RPGs. They are small items you can give to heroes after a hangout with them to potentially increase how much friendship XP you earn with them. While that sounds simple enough, there are more than 60 gifts in the game, and although no gift takes away any friendship XP, only some of them will earn you the maximum amount.

How Do You Get Gifts in Marvel's Midnight Suns?

You can get gifts in three ways. The first is to wander around the Abbey and collect them. Walk around and look out for any item you can interact with.

The second way is to buy them from the gift shop, which will unlock when you reach a certain threshold of total friendship levels. Gifts bought from this shop will cost you Gloss, but the gifts in the shop are of much higher quality than the ones you find.

Finally, you can craft gifts in Agatha's cauldron. The gifts you craft are unique, so they can only be made and given once, but if you give them to the right hero they give the most XP.
