When Will NBA 2K25 Release?

NBA 2K25's cover star is expected to be Nikola Jokić. The Denver Nuggets superstar checks every box for a cover star and hasn't appeared on the game's cover art before.

Players like LeBron James, Anthony Edwards, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Dončić, and Joel Embiid also stand out as strong candidates who meet these criteria.

After winning his first NBA championship, Jayson Tatum is also among the favorites. The NBA 2K X account even posted about the player, writing "What if winning was just the beginning?" That raised the question of whether he could be the game's next cover star.

Likewise, Anthony Edwards is one of the candidates for the spot thanks to his rising profile.

The cover star will be revealed in early August, but based on the current situation, Jayson Tatum is expected to land on the cover.

What Is the MyCareer Game Mode?

What Is the MyTeam Game Mode?
