Project #1: Alterverse

At first glance, Alterverse's Sky City looks like a space-age version of Dubai, but less fake. Plans soon include a Sky City version of other major cities like London and New York.

Alterverse is also both free-to-play and play-to-earn, using Unreal Engine. So you can buy land, mint, and sell and rent out your own NFTs.

There are also currently 2 additional games in the works. An FPS called Outpost and a survival strategy game called Rekt. 3,000 players have already signed up for these games.

Their partners also include CommunityDAO, which bought some land and is building 20-story rooftop apartment towers in Alterverse. It will include meeting spaces and educational training to be used or rented out in Alterverse. So we expect to see more partnerships like this going forward.

So Sky City is Alterverse's main hub. A city where, like Decentraland, you're free to enter and build. Sky City has 17 large floating platforms called Halospheres, like connected groups of neighborhoods. Inside a halosphere you can:

• Visit NFT art galleries
• Buy and sell NFTs (art or otherwise) from these stores

And all of these halospheres connect to Sky City's central hub, which, just like a well-planned real city, has more stores and city services like a Town Hall.

When Does ACE Coin Launch?

The in-game token is also ACE Coin, and there's even a mayor, a city council, and a voting system that will lead to an election in late 2022 or early 2023 once finalized. The ACE token is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2022.

Other Information About Alterverse

They also have their own NFT marketplaces on Enjin, so if you want to buy skins you'll need an Enjin wallet. But you don't need Enjin to play the game. You can join public or private squads for battles and track your progress on the Leaderboard.

One last great feature Alterverse offers is Meta servers. Essentially bringing decentralized node operators to the Metaverse. We don't think anyone else is doing this. Anyone can run a meta server. Once this server connects to Alterverse's Main Servers (like root servers for the internet), you can build your own world or visit others'.

This means that anyone, anywhere, can host a world or a game. If some Meta Servers go down or get shut down somewhere by a hostile government, there are plenty of alternatives to keep the worlds running. There's also a token offering coming sometime this summer. Until then, you can buy:

Project #2: Bitcountry

Bitcountry is a Metaverse portal for Polkadot and Kusama. They want to let you launch your Metaverse deployment simply and quickly. Their offering:

• EVM and WASM compatibility
• The ability to connect your games, apps, tokens, and NFTs
• Land sales
• Cross-chain interoperability
• All of it on DOT's Substrate

Their Odyssey Sales and THE Event in late November or early December were a success, and they sold 80 million NUUN (8% of the 1 billion total supply).

Bitcountry Tokenomics

50% of NUUM's total supply of 1 billion will be public. Lockup and vesting schedules are listed in the Whitepaper, with most of the non-public tokens locked for at least 1 year.

There are two more tokens worth noting. BIT is the in-game token, while NEER belongs to Pioneer. NEER is the token listed on Kusama, while BIT can be mined and burned. There are also 100,000 land plots for sale here. It looks like there will be staking options for all 3 existing tokens.

Project 3: Pax World

Pax World has a different focus. They're focused on communication between people in the Metaverse. Everything in this world, whether for social, educational or commercial purposes, is about interacting with others.

And by supporting many different devices and having low hardware requirements, they make it easy to get into their worlds.
