Excitement Builds for the PCS5 Europe MEA Regional Qualifier

Excitement is building around PUBG Continental Series 5. The teams directly invited to PCS5's grand finals were announced a few days ago. Among those teams were Türkiye's representatives, BBL Esports and Digital Athletics. But teams still need to get through the qualifying stage to reach the finals. Today, the teams directly invited to the PCS5 Europe MEA regional qualifier were announced.

What Stages Will the PCS5 Europe MEA Regional Qualifier Teams Go Through?

There's not much time left before PCS5 Europe. Along with the PUBG Global Championship 2021, the best teams from each continent will be determined ahead of the grand final. That's why PCS5's role in finding Europe's best teams matters so much. What stages will the teams competing for the PCS5 final go through?

Getting through this long qualifying process is far from easy for the teams. First, teams need to get past the sub-region qualifiers. In this stage, which has 24 teams, teams are split into 3 groups of 8. Each team will play 18 matches over 3 days. The top 3 teams from each sub-region will get a chance to earn a spot at PCS5. The sub-regions here are Middle East and Africa (MEA), Europe West, and Europe East. Of the 24 teams that emerge, 15 need to make it through the massive open qualifiers, which include a large number of teams. After that, the 9 teams invited directly to the regional qualifiers will join those 15 teams.

Teams Invited to the PCS5 Europe MEA Regional Qualifier

The prize pool to be split among the regional qualifier finalists is $10,000. The top 3 teams in the final standings will earn a spot at the PCS5 Europe Grand Final. The 9 teams invited from the MEA Region are as follows;
