PUBG Mobile x Evangelion Core Circle Mode

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Japanese mecha anime television series produced by Gainax, animated by Tatsunoko, directed by Hideaki Anno, and aired on TV Tokyo from October 1995 to March 1996.

Its hero is Shinji Ikari, a young boy recruited by the shadowy organization Nerv by his father Gendo to pilot a giant bio-machine mecha called Evangelion in the fight against beings known as Angels. PUBG Mobile partnered with this series in its official 2.0 version update and created a new game mode called Core Circle.

PUBG Mobile x Evangelion Core Circle Mode: Gameplay

This new mode differs from previous modes. A match in this mode only includes 64 players. The most exciting part of this mode is that the play zone's size is very small even at the start of the match. It's a battle-mode-type map that includes several new buildings. There are a total of two types of buildings on the map. These are defense fortresses and EVA launch pads. A crystal-like mechanized floating creature called the Sixth Angel roams around Erangel. Its main goal is to destroy the defense fortresses. The creature will eventually destroy all three defense fortresses.

Players can get plenty of loot from these ruins. After this carnage, another giant robot, the EVA-01 unit, emerges from the underground EVA launch pad. This robot searches the entire map for the Sixth Angel. After spotting the creature, it picks up a massive laser rifle nearly identical to the legendary AWM sniper rifle. After picking up the weapon, it fights the alien crystal-like monster and eventually defeats it with a laser beam. After defeating its opponent, EVA-01 moves toward a body of water and disappears into it. Players can get good loot from the wreckage of these defense fortresses and the EVA launch pads. Since the Sixth Angel's beams can damage anyone caught in them, players need to stay away from them.

Since the event's special buildings will be full of good loot, players can expect many enemies landing with them and gunfights breaking out. The revive feature has also been changed. Previously, after death, a player's teammates could bring them back using revive towers. In the new mode, revives are automatic. After being eliminated, a plane will fly over the map and players can jump from it whenever they want. They can be revived without their teammates' help. The revive feature is only available for a limited time, namely the start and mid stages of the match.

Titles and Achievements

Every time a new mode arrives, more things are introduced into the game as well. These are new achievements and titles. In this mode, players will get to witness the battle between EVA-01 and the Sixth Angel. They'll also need to visit the EVA launch pad and the defense fortresses a total of three times. They'll also need to open some hidden crates within the building wreckage. By completing these steps, a player can earn 20 achievement points, a crate coupon code, and an epic title.
