PUBG: New State, the futuristic version of PUBG Mobile, has released two new videos introducing the game's maps and other features. You can find details on the topics covered in the videos in the article below. Enjoy reading!
PUBG New State Features
The first trailer revealed PUBG New State's most distinctive feature: a futuristic, 8x8 map, the dilapidated Troi. The video covered four different Troi locations, including the exhibition hall, the shopping mall, the laboratory and the trailer park.
The exhibition hall is in the center of Troi and has a large open center. It also has plenty of verticality for players to experiment with positioning and sniping. The shopping mall has an open area, a roof and lower floors with stores that have different disadvantages and advantages. Some areas include bulletproof glass and functional escalators that can provide extra challenges.
The laboratory is a more enclosed area with four narrow levels to navigate and is protected by bulletproof glass. Therefore, players who enter are safe unless attacked by others. The trailer park allows more movement, with many climbing, jumping and hiding options. There is also a ramp players can go down to escape the trailer park area.
In the second trailer, the developers introduced the new vehicles and revealed a weapon customization system, a feature PUBG Mobile doesn't currently have. In addition to the vehicles in PUBG Mobile, New State will get the Volta, Vulture and Tram.
Volta is an electric car with a stealthier motor. However, players will still be able to hear it approaching at close range. The vehicle will also consume a large amount of battery, and driving it through the magnetic blue zone will drain its energy too.
Vulture is a motorcycle that accelerates slowly but has a maximum speed. Its downside is the amount of throttle needed to reach top speeds.
Tram, a mode of transport PUBG Mobile doesn't have, changes everything by being impassable. It is protected by bulletproof glass, but players inside can be ambushed at the exit.
New State will also include a drone store. Players can earn drone credits while exploring the map and trade the credits for medicine, ammo and new items. Purchased items will be delivered by a very noticeable drone trailing blue smoke plumes. So players need to be careful when picking up the items they ordered.
PUBG New State Weapons
For the weapon customization system, players can customize any weapon through vehicle crates scattered around the map. A player can turn their single-shot weapon into a multi-bullet weapon or give their weapon more range. The customization system will be constantly updated and rotated throughout the release.
PUBG New State Release Date
Pre-registration for New State is available for Android. Pre-registration for iOS will open in August 2021. The release date of New State has not yet been officially announced.
