Keep reading our article for the details. Are Sega and Tencent leaving E3 2023? Let's take a look at the reasons behind these departures together:

Sega and Tencent Will Not Attend E3 2023!

It has been announced that Sega and Tencent will not be attending the upcoming E3 2023 event. Sources on the matter said there was "a significant breakdown in communication" between organizers ReedPop and the ESA, and that they "haven't heard of anyone else definitively planning to attend." Tencent and Sega told IGN they would not be attending the event. The lineup has not yet been made public with an announcement, but it's known that, like Sega and Tencent, there are other companies that won't be attending the event.

Sega told IGN, "After careful consideration, we have decided not to participate as an exhibitor at E3 2023. We look forward to sharing more information about upcoming announced and unannounced projects in the future."

According to IGN's sources, event organizer ReedPop will also be shaken up next month by the departure of company president Lance Fensterman, who will be replaced by vice president Michael Kisken.

E3 2023 was supposed to celebrate the iconic industry event's return after four years, but due to recent events there is confusion over whether E3 will move forward, and no official announcement with more details on what to expect at E3 has been made. We'll all wait and see whether the event happens this year despite all these issues.

When Is E3 2023?
