Sims 4 For Rent Expansion Leak: Rental Houses (October 2023)

It has emerged that the next Sims 4 expansion leaked before being announced, and it may let players become landlords.

A Twitter user listed a brand-new The Sims 4 DLC expected to be released in December 2023. According to rumors, the expansion will be named Rental Houses or For Rent. Since this is only a leak for now, we do not know what the expansion pack could add to the game at this time.

What Will the Sims 4 Rental Houses Expansion Pack Be Like?

It is important to remember that neither EA nor developer Maxis has officially confirmed anything yet.

A different leak shared more details about the possible new expansion. The rental expansion will let players have their Sims manage multiple rental housing lots or move in as tenants. The leaked expansion pack description says "From potlucks to evictions, there is a lot to do, and there is a bustling new world to do it in." Sims fans have also begun sharing their views on the possible new expansion. Views shared included a Twitter user saying "So... we're becoming landlords???", and "Wow, a landlord simulator! In this economy I'm going to get as close to owning property as I can".

On the other hand, some players pointed out that rental properties already exist through other expansions. However, we can think that in this expansion pack there is more to do with the properties than just moving into them.

Sims 4 Rental Houses Pack Release Date

It is not yet clear whether this will be the next expansion or whether the source of the leaks will turn out to be accurate. So there is no confirmed release date either. But if we do get such a pack, we think we could see many new features, not just owning a home in the game. We are waiting!
