What Is the Story of Sniper Elite 3?

Sniper Elite 3 is a third-person tactical shooter developed by Rebellion Developments. The game's story follows American sniper Karl Fairburne (Tom Clarke-Hill) during the 1942 Battle of Gazala, joining British forces' efforts to stop Erwin Rommel and the Afrika Korps from taking the vital port city of Tobruk. Fairburne takes out several German artillery positions, but the enemy still captures the city, forcing our character to leave his fellow soldiers behind. The story is built around Fairburne and what he goes through. Players move across World War II North Africa locations throughout the game. The sniper rifle is the player's primary weapon, but additional weapons are available, including light machine guns and pistols. In addition to grenades, players can place tripwire booby traps, two different types of land mines, and dynamite. Sniper Elite 3 can be played solo or in multiplayer.
