TFT Set 9 arrived on the PBE server, LoL's test server, in early July 2023. Many Turkish players queued up to play on the PBE server and wanted to try TFT Set 9. One of the most important things that players caught up in the excitement of a new set wonder about is what the meta comps are in TFT Set 9 and what kinds of comps there are in TFT Set 9. So we went into the PBE server and decided to outline the general comps that players placed 1st with. Here are the best TFT Set 9 meta comps 2023 we could find for you!
Best TFT Comps for Set 9 Patch 13.13
Strategist Azir/Lux

Together with Ionia Challengers, this comp is the strongest on the PBE for patch 13.13. Very reliable!
Difficulty: Medium Item/Augment Dependency: Medium Variance: Medium Leveling Model: Standard
Requirements:
- Azir and Lux items
Item Holder: Cassiopeia, Malzahar Taliyah, Kalista, Vel'Koz Best Emblem/Spatula Holder : Lux, Jarvan
How to Play : You generally play this with any early AP or attack speed user and slam early-game items such as Statikk Shiv and Guinsoo's Rageblade. With the Draven Legend nerfs, the meta will most likely go back to the level 7 meta, so it is important to try to keep a high economy and/or HP to reach Stage 4-1 with enough gold to roll for at least 1* copies of your carries. In the early game, try to keep Strategist units, especially Swain. A Swain 2 can stabilize your mid game quite easily, and your backline carries can include everything from Cassiopeia to Multicasters and early-game Sorcerers.
Items:
- Azir items: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, Hextech Gunblade, Rabadon's Deathcap, Jeweled Gauntlet, Statikk Shiv, Archangel's Staff, Guardbreaker,
- Lux items: Blue Buff, Giant Slayer, Rabadon's Deathcap, Jeweled Gauntlet, Hextech Gunblade, Archangel's Staff, Guardbreaker,
- Nasus items: Titan's Resolve, Bloodthirster, Hand of Justice, Tank items
- Jarvan items: Tank items
Core :
- 4 Strategist 3 Shurima 3 Demacia
Augments: Shurima's Legacy, Social Distancing, Level Up, Jeweled Lotus, Gifts from the Fallen, Long Distance Pals, Unified Resistance, Battle Ready, Cybernetic Leech
Yasuo Ionia

This is probably the most talked-about comp of the patch, and with the convenience of spreading AD + AP items, its raw power is almost unmatched.
Difficulty: Medium Item/Augment Dependency: Medium Variance: Medium Leveling Model: Standard
Requirements:
- Yasuo items, secondary carry
Item Holder: Warwick, Zed Best Emblem/Spatula Holder : Aphelios, Kai'Sa Best Legends: Vladimir
How to Play : To play this comp, you generally transition from a partial Ionia start to a full Ionia board or from Challengers. Since your carries and most important units are 4-cost, it is important to play strongly early in the game, build your economy, and then bring your end-game board online at level 7 or 8. You will often want Bloodthirster + Titan's Resolve and/or Edge of Night.
You should look for a secondary carry, so if you already have Attack Speed, look to slot AD items on Aphelios, while if you have more AP-centered items, look to slot them on Kai'Sa or Lux.
Items:
- Yasuo items: Bloodthirster, Edge of Night, Titan's Resolve, Hand of Justice, Giant Slayer, Infinity Edge, Deathblade
- Aphelios items: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, Last Whisper, Infinity Edge, Deathblade, Guardbreaker
- Kai'Sa items: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, Hextech Gunblade, Rabadon's Deathcap, Jeweled Gauntlet, Statikk Shiv, Archangel's Staff, Guardbreaker, Morellonomicon
- Tank items on Shen
Core :
- 6 Ionia
Augments: Ionia Crown, Level Up, Jeweled Lotus, Sentinel Spirit, Gifts from the Fallen, Long Distance Pals, Unified Resistance, Battle Ready, Cybernetic Leech
Void Kai'Sa

Difficulty: Low Item/Augment Dependency: Medium Variance: Medium Leveling Model: Standard
Requirements:
- Kai'Sa items
Item Holder: Malzahar Best Emblem/Spatula Holder : Legendary/Anyone Best Legends: Urf
How to Play : Void looks like a fairly simple comp that relies on Void starting early in the game. If you get an early 2* Cho'Gath and/or Malzahar and can get a +1 Void boost, all you have to do is reach 3 and then 6 Void as soon as possible. The whole premise of this comp is to reach Kai'Sa with enough HP, then scale to 6 or even 8 Void with upgraded high-cost units such as Bel'Veth, Sion, Kai'Sa and Sejuani.
Items:
- Kai'Sa items: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, Hextech Gunblade, Rabadon's Deathcap, Jeweled Gauntlet, Statikk Shiv, Archangel's Staff, Guardbreaker, Morellonomicon
- Bel'Veth items: Thief's Gloves, Titan's Resolve, Bloodthirster, Last Whisper, Infinity Edge, Deathblade, Giant slayer
- Leftover tank items
Core :
- 6 Void
