Activision published a blog post outlining the new features we can expect from Season 3 for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Some of the new features we will see in Season 3 will be a DMZ overhaul, new weapons and the announcement of many additional features. CoD: Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Update Details
In Warzone 2.0, we can expect the new Al Mazrah Massive Resurgence mode to drop as soon as the season begins. Just like on Ashika Island, on Al Mazrah players will be allowed to respawn continuously as long as at least one player on a team survives. Later we will also see Plunder and Warzone Ranked play, which will arrive as part of the mid-season update. Redeploy Drones, UAV Towers, the Decontamination Station, Perk Pack items, Deployable Buy Stations and Gulag Entry Kits will come as part of this season.
CoD: Warzone 2.0 Season 3: New Game Mode
The 2v2 Gunfight mode, which is very popular with players, will return to Modern Warfare 2 with three new 6v6 maps for multiplayer. In addition, new Spec Ops missions will be in the game along with a new raid chapter.
DMZ, Warzone 2.0's extraction mode, will also be overhauled in Season 3. A new Barter System will be added that lets players trade items for more valuable resources at Buy Stations. The new Workbench will serve players well, giving them the chance to swap Contraband weapons within a match. In addition to all this, in the new season we can expect to see a new Active Mission Operator slot, a new faction, reorganized missions and some new bosses.
