Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 makes you want to come loaded with your loadout, just like in the original game. But the new loadout system does things a bit differently. Because of that, whether you're a new or returning player, you'll definitely want to know how to get your loadout to boost your chances of winning. Here's how to get your loadout in Warzone 2.0.

How to Get Loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 (2023)
Buy Loadout Weapons
Before we explain how to actually get your loadout, you should know that you can still buy loadout weapons from Buy Stations. This is a new change that lets players purchase their loadout weapons — without any of the attachments or perks that come with your full loadout — for $5,000 each. In most cases, that's enough to survive to the end, or at least enough to hold you over until you get your full loadout. Whenever possible, you should make it a habit to always grab at least one weapon from a Buy Station before picking up your perks and the rest of your loadout later.
Complete a Stronghold
The fastest way to get your loadout is to complete one of the new Strongholds, bases filled with enemy AI. In every match, three Strongholds spawn at random locations around the map after some time has passed, giving players a chance to earn their favorite weapons along the way. To complete a Stronghold, you need to defeat the AI that spawns there and defuse the bomb in time. Once you defuse the bomb, your loadout will be ready right where the bomb was. From there, you'll be able to access your loadout, complete with perks and equipment.
Keep in mind, other players will also come looking to grab their loadout. You don't have to be the team or player who defused the bomb to access the hardware. That said, there's still a limited amount of loadout available, so not everyone who stops by a Stronghold will get one. Even so, since these Strongholds appear by the end of the first circle, this is the fastest way to get your custom loadout. Just remember, if you're the first team there, you'll have to fend off other players too.
World Drop
The last way to get your hands on a loadout is to grab one from a world drop. These are similar to the original Warzone's loadout drops that spawn periodically throughout a match. The catch here is that loadout drops don't appear until halfway through the game, meaning a large portion of the lobby won't get one. The most important thing to watch out for is that other players will also see these loadout drops, so trying to grab one can be risky. You'll want to be careful when approaching so you don't get caught by other players watching the loadout drop.
