Yesterday we heard news that the GTA 6 trailer would be released in early December, and we know the first reveals will happen this week. We'll also look at whether GTA 6 will release on PS5.
Will GTA 6 Come to PS4? Will It Release on PS4/PS5?
While we still don't know exactly when GTA 6 is coming, we can expect to see the game on PC first. But if you're hoping to play it on PS4, we can already predict you won't be in luck. Given the additions and graphics packed into this game, it's hard to imagine it coming to a 10-year-old platform, and we expect that will especially be true if the trailer arrives well before the game's actual release date.
In other words, if we get ready to play this upcoming release on PS5, we're probably making the safest bet. Discussions in the GTA 6 subreddit show that, even though there's no official statement yet from Rockstar Games about platforms, this is what players are expecting, and that Sony definitely doesn't want the game's momentum toned down.
The trailer news might even give an extra boost to PS5 sales going into the New Year. Right now there aren't that many PS5-exclusive games. But we can see a highly anticipated, graphically powerful game like GTA 6 becoming a launch highlight for PS5. Stay tuned for more GTA 6 news!
