All the features that night mode will soon bring to Xbox consoles (Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One) are as follows:

  • Screen brightness will be adjustable.
  • The LED lights on the controller and the power button light on the console will be dimmable.
  • A blue light or red light filter will be added to the console. This will let players game more comfortably.
  • Both software and hardware lights will be able to be turned off.
  • HDR can automatically be turned off.
  • Night mode itself will be able to be toggled on and off manually.
  • Hours can be set for night mode to automatically turn on and off.
