The Yıldız Jam event has kicked off in full swing! We, as the Gamer Papers family, are taking part in the event too. The Yıldız Jam event is being held with the support of Sky Lab (Yıldız Technical University Computer Science Club). The event covers everyone, from students who want to improve themselves in the gaming field to major game developers and people who have achieved (or want to achieve) success in the gaming world. So, what is Yıldız Jam? Who's taking part in this year's event? Let's take a closer look at the event!
What Is Yıldız Jam?
Yıldız Jam is a game development event held with the support of Sky Lab (Yıldız Technical University Computer Science Club). At Yıldız Jam, students develop a game on a given topic over a full 48 hours. Once the first stage of the event ends, a live broadcast kicks off game development, and a 48-hour game development marathon begins. At the end of these 48 hours, the most well-liked game from those developed is chosen and given an award. Of course, Yıldız Jam isn't limited to just this — the event also features presentations from many well-known names and brands in the gaming world.
Who's Taking Part in Yıldız Jam?
Yıldız Jam's speakers include brands such as Can Sungur, Io Interactive, Endless Entertainment, TOGED, Mobidictum, Project Flying Cat, and Metaverse Game Studios. The participants in the exhibition area include brands such as Narcade, YTU GamesUp, YTU Star Verse, Sense4motion, GamFed, TOYED, Remoob, and DOJO. We're taking part as the event's media sponsor as well.
