Who Are the Arcane Characters/Champions?

The characters shown so far include Jinx, Vi, Ekko, Singed, Ryze, Jayce, Caitlyn, Viktor and Heimerdinger. However, there's a good chance we'll meet other characters in later episodes. Let's take a look at each of these characters' traits in the show together.

Jinx

Jinx is the main character in Arcane. The show opens with Jinx singing. She tries to escape a massacre around her together with her sister. Both characters are caught up in quite a tough struggle. But the man they're about to meet will become their turning point. Appearing throughout all three episodes, Jinx was initially known as “Powder.”

Vi

Jinx's older sister and one of the main characters. Like the other Zaunites, Vi fights to lift the oppression the people of Piltover are subjected to. Together with Claggor and Mylo, she raids Piltover to save their adoptive father, Vander.

Ekko

Entering “Arcane” in the 29th minute of the first episode, Ekko is known as Jinx's childhood friend.

Singed

Singed is shown at the end of the first episode working together with the villain Silco.

Ryze

Ryze appears briefly in the show as a flashback, shown rescuing Jayce and his mother from a snowstorm using his signature spell, Realm Warp.

Jayce

Jayce is seen experimenting with Hextech magic in Piltover. His pursuit of combining technology, science and magic is the most important part of his story.

Caitlyn

In the show's second episode, her family's roots in the city of Piltover are explored in depth.

Viktor

In the show, Viktor works together with Jayce to uncover the powers behind Hextech magic.

Heimerdinger

Heimerdinger is the last champion revealed across Arcane's first three episodes. A professor at the Piltover academy, Heimerdinger oversees Piltover's technological and social progress.
