Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Weapons Tier List: LR 7.62

Even though quickscoping isn't what it used to be, this sniper rifle will always deliver good results in the right hands. Black Ops 6 is no different, and the LR 7.62 is a very effective choice.

Sniping obviously isn't for everyone, but if you're after one-shot kills, there's no better option in the Black Ops 6 Beta. As long as most of your shots land on the upper chest or head, you'll get clean kills, and that holds true even at longer ranges.

Even though it's a slower pick in the AR category, the AK-74's higher damage output makes it one of the best choices in Black Ops 6 today. That's because Gunsmith is meant to both improve its mobility and extend its viability at longer ranges.

This year's AK is back in the AR slot and lethal in the right situations. So you won't want to run-and-gun with it on certain maps, but if you want to hold an angle or pick off targets at range, this Assault Rifle is a pretty ideal choice.

Since it's the first SMG you unlock, and to have a versatile SMG option when you need one, it's a good idea to level this weapon up early.

By focusing on mobility, you can move incredibly fast while equipped with the C9. Paired with this year's flashy Omnimovement feature, you can literally run circles around your opponents. Rounded out by an outstanding fast TTK, the C9 is definitely not an SMG to overlook.

AMES 85

The AMES 85 is the best Assault Rifle in Black Ops 6. While the SMG category excels at close range, ARs are designed for mid-to-long-range gunfights. In that regard, the AMES 85 sits above both the XM4 and the AK-74, giving you the most accuracy and firepower at range.

So if you're looking for a solid, flat-shooting and generally reliable weapon you can bring into any lobby, this gun should be at the top of your list.

Jackal SMG

The Jackal SMG has emerged as the weapon you should pick up right from the start of the game. It's the strongest weapon right now and has an odd TTK, but it's become even better thanks to the game's movement-focused design.

With the ability to move freely in any direction, you can take down enemies or catch them off guard as you close in on them. Having the Jackal PDW in hand while you do this will make it that much easier.
