Over the weekend, a new Brawl Talk was released on the official Brawl Stars YouTube channel announcing the arrival of a new Legendary brawler, and we learned more about some quality of life updates, new skins and what awaits clubs.
When Is the Main Brawl Talk Update for September 2021?
The community says the next Brawl Stars update is coming soon, perhaps a few days after the Brawl Talk, since this Brawl Talk was somewhat shorter than earlier videos for bigger updates, and there is speculation that we should expect it no later than this Wednesday.
We were expecting the arrival of a new Brawler, and that is what happened. We will go over the new Legendary Brawler Meg and the other content. The next Brawl Stars update will probably be released soon, and you can also follow the changes coming from the new update video.
Meet Meg: Vending Vigilante
The Legendary Brawler Meg will be released in the next Brawl Stars update to complete the Heroic trio of herself, Max and Surge. Meg is a mobile brawler who can aim with her double-shot pistol from mid range.
Brawl Stars Newest Brawler Meg's Abilities
After her Super is charged, Meg jumps into a mecha anime-style vending repair bot. While Meg is in the repair bot, she fires eight fast-moving bullets at her opponent from the mech's twin laser cannons. While in her mech, Meg gains a secondary attack that hits opponents in a cone in front of her as the mech swings its giant sword in front of her. This Super attack charges independently of the mech's main attack, but the attack actually has a fast cooldown.
What Is Meg's Super Ability?
While Meg is inside the mech, her projectile speed and attack power increase, but the mech's health gradually decreases regardless of damage taken, and when the mech's HP reaches zero she exits the mech and continues with her own health. The moment she gets out of the mech, she returns with a protective shield, and the only way to kill her is to bring her HP to zero in her normal form.
Meg's playstyle is definitely suited to players who like aiming from range and who like to play at closer range after activating the Super and quickly close in on their opponents. The base projectile speed is a bit slow, but she can punish close-range Brawlers who move predictably. We will learn more when the next Brawl Stars update is released.
Brawl Stars New Skins, Updates and More!
Two new skins will be released with the new Brawl Stars update: Gladiator Colette and V8-Bit. Gladiator Colette comes from Supercell's Make campaign and was designed by Tracy and Beats. V8-Bit will be released along with the Retropolis environment and skin series. Since Retropolis has become a seasonal event, fans of the Retropolis skins will have the chance to buy all the skins once a year. Players will be able to unlock the V8-Bit skin after completing the Retropolis Challenge in October.
What Are the Brawl Stars Club Updates?
The Brawl Stars club update was a topic we discussed in our Brawl Stars Season 8 preview in August, and now we have more details on why Clubs will be limited to 30 members instead of the previous 100-member limit. It seems Brawl Stars may be working on Club Wars and wants to encourage users to fill their clubs with active users for this new mode.
Some quality of life changes will be released in this update, including a skin randomizer and filters, pin use in club chat, more animated pins, new voice lines for Evil Queen Pam and some new True Gold and True Silver skins.
We will be back with more details once the next Brawl Stars update is released.
