This tier list ranks all 54 brawlers by their performance across every game mode, including Showdown and Duels. This tier list should be taken only as a reference, since the game has a variety of modes and some characters may perform better than others or be suited to different specific roles.

Brawlers to Pick and Avoid

Overpowered (S+)

The best brawlers currently in the meta that can be used in most team compositions and game mode(s).

• Darryl: December's balance change brought a rework that lets Darryl be more aggressive with his Shell, making him a top-tier assassin.
• Spike: A strong brawler who has consistently stayed near the top through several metas, Spike's value has increased thanks to balance changes that nerfed Grom, one of his main counters.
• Meg: Meg is a versatile brawler with ranged attacks. She can deal sustained damage while in her mech form. Up close, she can deal massive damage with her Super. Even after the balance change, she remains a brawler that's hard to deal with.

Worst (D)

The worst brawlers currently in the meta are placed in this tier, because they only work in certain team compositions and/or in certain modes.

• Penny: Her lack of burst damage, combined with the prevalence of shooters and tanks, has weakened her power a bit. Siege not being in Power League has also made it harder for her to leave a mark on the meta.
• Lou: Lou is a decent brawler in Siege, Gem Grab, and Heist to some extent. He's only playable in those kinds of modes, but definitely not the best. He doesn't fit into other game modes. That's why he's in the F-tier.
• Mr. P: Low damage paired with mid range makes Mr. P a weak brawler to pick. That comes along with a low Super charge rate, which means Mr. P falls off in a single fight, and he also struggles against aggressive brawlers.
• Ash: He's a brawler that's very reliant on healers for support. Their absence throws him off badly. In addition, the balance change that lowered his rage bar charge rate while taking damage has also dropped him down the tier list.
• Bull: Bull is only good in Heist mode. That's why he's placed in the F-tier.
