Football Manager 2022 has been out since November 2021, and one of the biggest joys and obsessions for players ever since has been scouring the world for the best talent. That said, depending on which leagues you decide to load, finding and unearthing the right player in a database of hundreds of thousands of players can often be tough.

Luckily, in recent weeks we have had you covered with every kind of tactic, wonderkid, and up-to-date FM 22 news you could need since FM 21. You can find every kind of FM 22 news you need by clicking the links at the bottom of this article.

FM 22 best left wingers

As with other articles like this one we have put together, we made sure to include players across every price and age range, rather than not including the world's best players on the list. Otherwise, it would be way too easy to just put Ansu Fati, Jadon Sancho, or Heung-Min Son on it and say there's nothing better than these guys :)

FM22's Young and Experienced Left-Backs and Wingers

A significant portion of the players on this list have Potential Ability ranges rather than fixed ratings.

Here Are the 10 Left Wingers You Need to Sign in FM22

10. Jakub Kaminski

FM 22 Jakub KaminskiClub: Lech Poznan

Nationality: Poland

Transfer Fee: £2.5 million

Anyone on the left wing who doesn't want to spend the earth for value shouldn't look past Lech Poznan's left winger, Jakub Kamiński. Available for a transfer fee of roughly £2.5 million, the Poland U21 international is a great option for clubs that can't afford to sign the bigger names on this list, or even just for more budget-conscious managers looking for an alternative.

Jakub Kaminski's attributes are more than solid to start, with 14 Dribbling, 13 Acceleration, and 13 Pace. His mental stats aren't bad either, so he shouldn't catch anyone off guard early in the save. That said, since Kaminski is set with a Potential Ability of 130 to 160 (-8) at the start of the game, alongside a solid left winger you'll also be adding a high-potential wonderkid to your squad.

Given his attributes, even though Lech Poznan's winger might have a lower ceiling than some of the other players on this list, it would be foolish not to pick up Jakub Kaminski for just £2.5 million and give him a chance.

9. Mikkel Damsgaard

FM 22 Mikkel DamsgaardClub: Sampdoria

Nationality: Denmark

Transfer Fee: £30 million

After the Danish left winger drew everyone's attention with the free kick he scored against England in the Euro 2020 semifinal, Mikkel Damsgaard looks to be on his way to becoming one of the best. Currently playing for Sampdoria in Serie A, he's a special talent who can comfortably play across the front and midfield, particularly at number 10 and right winger just as easily as on the left. Even so, Damsgaard's best role is as an Inverted Winger on the left flank.

The 21-year-old starts the game with Dribbling, Technique, Flair, and Off the Ball all averaging 16. With 15 Acceleration and 14 Pace, the young winger is far from slow when it comes to beating defenders either. He also has a fixed Potential Ability of 163, which makes him even better.

Sampdoria will likely demand a fee of around £30 million to part ways with the Danish international, but that's a fair price for such a versatile player, and with the right development you can be sure he'll become an even better one.

8. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

FM 22 Jamie Bynoe Gittens

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Nationality: England

Transfer Fee: £7 million

The youngest player on this list, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is one of those English youngsters who left the island to try his luck abroad. Following in the footsteps of Manchester City academy product Jadon Sancho, Bynoe-Gittens found himself at Borussia Dortmund in Germany. Even so, at 16 years old, he's surrounded by more than enough attributes to make his Bundesliga debut, and you can experience that hype in Football Manager too.

15 Dribbling, 12 Acceleration, and 13 Pace are a great start, but looking at the young winger's attributes early in the save won't get you very far on their own. It's worth keeping an eye on where his Potential Ability, set between 140 and 170 (at just 16 years old), ends up. As long as you sign him and pay close attention to his development, you can be sure you're raising an elite winger!

Borussia Dortmund's promising young winger is willing to let him leave for a modest fee of around £7.5 million, though Bynoe-Gittens might need a bit of convincing.

7. Jesus Corona

FM 22 Jesus Corona

Club: Porto

Nationality: Mexico

Transfer Fee: £24 million

For anyone after a more experienced player, one who'll make a difference from the very first day he joins your club, FC Porto's Jesus Corona is well worth considering. The Mexican international recently completed a real-life transfer to Sevilla, but in FM22 you can still sign him from FC Porto until the winter update arrives at some point — likely by the end of this month (February).

The 28-year-old boasts plenty of attributes in green, including Dribbling (18), First Touch (18), Technique (17), Flair (18), and Vision (16), which makes him an excellent option. As an Inverted Winger on the left of your attacking midfield, though he can just as comfortably play on the right when needed, it's best deployed on the left since he likes to cut inside toward the box and pick out a pass from there rather than go down the line. Corona is especially effective in open space, and he's a joy to watch on the counter-attack.

Available from FC Porto for £24 million early in the save, Jesus Corona is a great option for clubs light on the wings. Since his real-life transfer to Sevilla will also go through in FM 22, it'll be much harder to sign him afterward, so it's worth acting fast before the new update lands.

6. Raul Moro

FM 22 Raul MoroClub: Lazio

Nationality: Spain

Transfer Fee: £7.5 million

Young winger Raul Moro, who has started making an impact for Lazio's first team, continues to push hard for his development at the Rome club this season, and despite mostly coming off the bench, he's managed to make ten appearances. While experienced wingers Pedro and Felipe Anderson have their starting spots locked down, the Spain U21 international, though currently settling for the bench, has the talent to dethrone one of them very soon (Pedro especially should watch his back).

Even though the high-potential winger starts the game as a squad player, he can comfortably break into the starting XI with his day-one attributes unless you're managing a truly huge club. With 15 Acceleration and 14 Pace, alongside solid Dribbling (13) and First Touch (13), Moro can be a useful addition to your squad either as an Inverted Winger on the left or as a Winger on the right. Lazio's young winger will start the game with a Potential Ability of 140 to 170, which means: if you can sign him, you'll have one of the future stars in your hands!

Lazio will likely ask for around £7.5 million to part ways with the 19-year-old, which is excellent value, especially considering you'll be getting a player at the top end of that Potential Ability range...

5. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

FM 22 Khvicha KvaratskheliaClub: Rubin Kazan

Nationality: Georgia

Transfer Fee: £7.5 million

A perennial Football Manager wonderkid for a few years now, this young Georgian has the potential to be one of the best wingers in the game, depending on when in the save you sign him. With a Potential Ability range of 150-180, unless you pick up Kvaratskhelia several seasons into your save, you're looking at one of the best players in the world.

Big clubs will often come calling for him after his first or second season, so you'll need to move fast, but if you do, this talented young winger can be found for as little as £7.5 million, and with a bit of negotiating room, you might get him for a touch more.

Best deployed as an Inverted Winger on the left, Kvaratskhelia will cause opposing defenders all kinds of trouble with attributes like Dribbling (16), Flair (18), Agility (18), and Technique (18). The 20-year-old already stands out for having a solid set of Player Traits from the start, meaning he can make a big impact for any team outside the very elite from the moment you sign him.

4. Manor Solomon

FM 22 Manor SolomonClub: Shakhtar Donetsk

Nationality: Israel

Transfer Fee: £65 million

Solomon, who has been catching the eye of Football Manager players for a few years now, has gone from wonderkid to certified star in FM22. Now 21 years old, the Israeli international has fulfilled all the promise he showed at Shakhtar Donetsk, and it seems big clubs around the world have him on their radar.

In Football Manager 2022, this talented winger contributes across the board with some outstanding mental attributes, including Passing 17 and Dribbling 16. Solomon also has a fixed Potential Ability of 166, so with the right development and plenty of playing time, there's no doubt the young Israeli will end up well above where he currently is.

The biggest downside to signing him is that Shakhtar are understandably reluctant to let Solomon leave, meaning you'll need to pay a hefty fee to prise him away. A minimum of around £65 million should be enough to get this transfer done, though it's unlikely many clubs will have that kind of money to spend early in the save. (Unless you're managing Newcastle, that is.)

Still, if you do pay that high fee, Manor will pay you back on the pitch. As for whether that kind of money should really be spent on one player, we'll leave that question to you...

3. Luis Diaz

FM 22 Luis DiazClub: Porto

Nationality: Colombia

Transfer Fee: £40 million

Everyone's been talking about Luis Diaz recently after his roughly €60 million move to Liverpool, but he'll be at FC Porto for the last time in Football Manager 2022 until the February winter update arrives.

In any save started after the update, it's obvious the Colombian will be swept up by Anfield's magic and turn down plenty of offers even if Liverpool accept them, since he won't want to leave. That'll likely hold for at least a season or two, if not for the rest of his career. So, while you can still make this transfer happen and your club has the funds, why not go for it now!

Anfield's new winger comes with plenty of attributes in green, including Dribbling and Flair (19), First Touch and Technique (18), Acceleration and Agility (17), and Pace (16). It's clear why Jurgen Klopp was so keen to get Luis Diaz even with an incredible trio like Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, and Diogo Jota already at his disposal. With a fixed Potential Ability of 168, the 24-year-old is perfectly suited either for a future sale up front or to add competition, and he still has some room to grow as far as Football Manager is concerned.

Before the upcoming update, you can add Diaz to your squad from FC Porto for around £40 million.

2. Jeremy Doku

FM 22 Jeremy DokuClub: Rennes

Nationality: Belgium

Transfer Fee: £42 million

A young talent who has been rising in the game every year and has been on plenty of big clubs' radars for a few seasons now. First at Anderlecht and now at Ligue 1 side Rennes, Jeremy Doku looks like a player destined to reach the very top.

Fortunately, in this year's iteration of Football Manager, the Belgian wonderkid also seems to agree with that assessment, given his very high ratings.

The 19-year-old starts the game with both Acceleration and Pace (17), and Flair (16). Doku loves beating his man over and over and has excellent close control, and with a bit more Dribbling and Finishing added (both attributes that can be developed with age), plus a Potential Ability range of 150 to 180, it's easy to see him making a name for himself among the world's elite players in the years to come.

Rennes aren't keen on letting the young player leave their club before he turns into a proper pace-and-goals machine, and this transfer will require a fee of around £42 million on average.

1. Yeremy Pino

FM 22 Yeremy Pino

Club: Villareal

Nationality: Spain

Transfer Fee: £30 million

If Jeremy Doku's price tag made your eyes water, we have got a player of similar quality for a somewhat more reasonable fee (somewhat, anyway). Villareal's young star Yeremy Pino has been a well-known secret among diehard FM fans for a few years now, and it's no surprise he's even better in this year's game.

The 18-year-old starts the game with well-rounded attributes, with plenty of what you'd want from an inverted-footed winger on the left. Most of his attributes sit in the 12-13 range, but adding Dribbling (16), Technique, and Flair (15) on top shows how well-rounded he is, with every attribute brought up to a solid level. If needed, Pino can also play on the right at levels close to his main position, and depending on your preference, you can use him as a number 10 or even a striker when required. As with Jeremy Doku, with a Potential Ability range of 150 to 180, if you're lucky enough to sign him early in the save, you could end up with one of the best players in the world.

The best part of all this is that the Spaniard starts the game with a release clause of £25.5 million. That might look like a relatively high number for an 18-year-old, but when you consider how few players in the world can reach the very top (and there are at least 2 on this list), that fee could end up looking like pocket change down the line.

So if you have got the money, you should move fast and sign the young Spaniard while you still can.
