FM 22 Galatasaray Transfer and Tactic Guide (December 2021)

How Should Galatasaray's Tactics Be in Football Manager 2022 and in Real Life?

It is well known that Fatih Terim is looking for players suited to the 4-1-4-1 formation he loves and generally uses, but if Gedson Fernandes arrives and no other midfielder is signed, I think this formation will not work much, because Berkan also does not perform adequately at number 6. The best formation the trio of Berkan or Taylan (in my opinion Berkan), Cicaldau and Gedson can play seems to be 4-3-3 (with 3 central midfielders).

The biggest weakness this highly dynamic trio will create is the handicap it will cause in getting forward, given Fatih Terim's love of building play with plenty of passing. After the news in the last match that captain Fernando Muslera will be out for at least 3 months, a goalkeeper transfer that was not on anyone's mind in the mid-season window started to come up. Fatih Terim, who wants to entrust the goal to someone solid both in the league and in Europe, will prefer a domestic goalkeeper, also considering the foreign player limit. That would be a goalkeeper who will protect the goal until Muslera returns and could even stay in the first XI if his performance is high. The first candidate who fits this goalkeeper model is Göztepe's young goalkeeper İrfan Eğribayat. Although İrfan Eğribayat has been on Galatasaray's agenda for 2 seasons, it has not been finalized by the Lion, who does not want to spend money on a goalkeeper in the transfer market. But after the injury, this transfer - or at least a goalkeeper transfer - is seen as certain. Before the unfortunate injury, the first move in the transfer market was Gedson Fernandes. FM 22 Galatasaray Left-Back Recommendations:

Rıdvan Yılmaz - Beşiktaş

If you can pry him away from Beşiktaş, do not think for a second and add Rıdvan to your team. You would be taking a swing, even if only in FM 22, at the full-back problem Galatasaray have not been able to solve for years.

Luke Thomas - Leicester City

I don't know whether your money will be enough, but one of the best left-backs you can consider as an investment for the future may be Luke Thomas.
