CS:GO developer Valve is focusing this time on improving four maps in the game. Let's look at what the CS:GO September 2022 update covers and which maps are planned to change:

CS:GO Update Notes: September 2022

Valve announced that it plans to bring many fixes and small changes to the maps Anubis, Blagai, Cascade and Ember. These changes will not only alter the maps but also make several spots much easier to access. Anubis is the map seeing the most changes. The developers are focusing on improving both bombsites on both the T side and the CT side. Some sounds, such as those at A long, are also being adjusted. Blagai and Cascade are maps made for Wingman mode, and Cascade is getting some new visual touches. Ember, a map made for Danger Zone mode, is also being reworked. The developers decided to fix something frequently seen on the map, a name on the map is being changed to Water Tower, and door usage around the map is being updated.

On top of all this, Valve is also addressing some interface and Steam Input issues, such as improving mouse and keyboard support on the Steam Deck. The next update has not been announced yet, and it is not yet known when it will come. However, with the IEM Rio Major 2022 tournament, we may see new changes on the horizon.
