• Thievery: Remember, your main goal is to rob this place; so don't pass up any valuable item you come across without stealing it! Pocket everything of value!
• Best Robbers: Carrying all that illegal loot can hurt your friends' backs. So you can help lighten that load by sneakily dumping your teammates' most valuable loot into your own bag! What a helpful robber you turned out to be!
• Stealth: If you don't make too much noise, the monster won't catch you. Note: the more you steal, the more noise you make. In emergencies, you can (sneakily) stuff your teammates' backpacks to make them make more noise than you.
• Survival: You can hide whenever possible, or push your teammates into the monster's arms if necessary. No one can question what you did in a moment of panic. Better your friend gets caught than you, right?

• Cooperation: Dark Hours is a 2-to-4 player co-op game where players must work together to escape the sinister entity hunting them. You can't survive alone, so you need to stay close to your teammates and cooperate with them to get out of this nightmare.
• Exploration: Explore your surroundings to find a way out, solve co-op mini-games, disable lasers and cameras, fill your bag with valuable loot, and use the building's secrets to escape. In Dark Hours' procedurally generated environments, no two heists will be alike. Just don't get lost!
• Equipment management: Should you bring a lockpick set, a hacking device, a flashlight, or a crowbar? You can choose your equipment and come across many different types of items during exploration. If you use your equipment wisely with your teammates, you might just have a chance to escape.
• There are two ways to get out: Find the exit or hide from the monster until morning. Will you survive this terrifying night?
