FC 24 Ultimate Edition vs Standard Edition Difference!
Even though FC 24 (FIFA 24 under its new name) is still a while away from release, there's a question that players starting the new game keep asking and want to know the difference between: the difference between the FIFA 24 Ultimate Edition and the Standard Edition. FC 24 (FIFA 24), expected to open for pre-order starting in July, gives its loyal players and early birds a variety of bonuses and perks. As it does every year, EA Sports is offering two separate editions of the game: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition.
NOTE: Until readers get used to the FC 24 name, we'll still be using FIFA 24 in places where we refer to the game's name.

FIFA 24 / FC 24 Ultimate Edition Difference vs Standard Edition!
Choosing between the two, and weighing the pros and cons of paying extra for the Ultimate edition, is a puzzle fans face every year. While the Standard edition offers more value for players looking for a plain gaming experience, that's why the Ultimate edition is generally the superior choice. You'll find a detailed explanation in the paragraph below.

Ultimate Edition vs Standard Edition
Which One Should I Choose?
First of all, as the name suggests, if you're not an Ultimate Team player and don't enjoy playing online, buying cards, competing against other players, or simply playing Ultimate Team, you should go straight for the Standard edition. Since the features and perks on offer only apply to Ultimate Team players, there's nothing there for you otherwise. If you're going to be a new Ultimate Team player and don't feel a strong competitive drive toward the game — meaning you're in a "play a couple of matches and enjoy yourself" mode — the Standard edition will again be the ideal choice for you. The Ultimate Edition packs in a number of Ultimate Team perks, such as early access to the game, starting with bonus FIFA Points, and special card benefits. If you're determined to be a serious Ultimate Team player, plan to take part in Weekend League, and intend to buy and sell plenty of players to build your team, you should pay the extra money and get the Ultimate Edition. You can be sure you won't regret the money you spend.

What's Included in the FC 24 Ultimate Edition vs Standard Edition?
Since the game is still months away from release and the upcoming series has nothing quite like it yet, it doesn't seem possible for us to give you definitive information at this point, at least for now. By sharing the features given in the FIFA 23 series with you, you can at least take a look at the perks given in the last series and hope for even more with the new one. Personally, that's what I'm going to do...
1) Early Access with FC 24 Ultimate Edition
The most important difference between FC 24 Ultimate Edition vs Standard edition is of course that we get early access!
FIFA 23 launched on September 30, and we expect the new game to release around a similar time. However, one of the features given, and one we predict will also come with the Ultimate Edition in FIFA 24, or EA FC 24 as it's otherwise known, is this: players who pre-order the Ultimate edition get access to the game three days before the full release.
This is different from the early access given to EA Play subscribers, since those players get a time-limited trial of the game. EA Play members can play the game three days early, but only for ten hours. There's no such restriction for players who order the Ultimate edition of the game. (It's unclear what will happen for FIFA 24)
2) Free FUT World Cup Heroes Item
EA Sports recently announced its upcoming partnership with Marvel for a revamp of FUT Heroes for the 2022 Men's World Cup.
EA added a range of new Heroes to FIFA 23 squads. In addition to the base versions of these cards that would be available in the game on launch day, EA partnered with Marvel to create super-hero-themed boosted versions of these cards for the World Cup.
Players who had ordered the Ultimate edition of the game before August 21 got an untradeable FUT World Cup Hero item when these items launched on November 11.
There's a good chance something similar will come to FC 24 (FIFA 24). What it will be called is anyone's guess...
3) Free Ones to Watch Items
Ones to Watch is the first promo of every FIFA cycle. The promo is based on high-profile transfers in club football over the summer, and gives players who sign with a new club special cards with dynamic performance-based upgrades.
Ones to Watch cards are live items. This means that when a player gets a performance-based special card, that card receives upgrades throughout the game cycle.
These items can be a significant boost to any player's FUT club, especially in the earlier stages of the game. Players who pre-ordered the Ultimate edition of FIFA 23 got a free, untradeable Ones to Watch item they could add to their club once the promo started, and there's a very good chance this item will also be given with the Ultimate Edition in FC 24 (FIFA 24).
Want to watch the video where we look for the answer to how to make transfers in FC 24?
4) 4,600 FIFA Points
FIFA Points are a form of in-game currency in Ultimate Team. Players can buy FIFA Points using microtransactions in the FUT store, then use them to open packs and acquire new players to add to their club or sell on the transfer market, enter FUT Draft, and so on.
Players who ordered the Ultimate edition of FIFA 23 got 4,600 FIFA Points the moment they first loaded up the game.
This is a valuable perk for anyone who doesn't spend money on these microtransactions, since it gives them a head start at the beginning of the game and lets them build a solid foundation for their club. This way, you can immediately flip cards and start the game with the chance of extra new players. I expect the same to hold true for FC 24, though I think the amount of FIFA Points given could be increased.
5) Dual Entitlement
FIFA 23 will be available across multiple console generations, with significant gameplay differences between the previous-gen and current-gen consoles.
Players who buy the Standard edition of the game will only get a single version for the console they choose. However, buying the Ultimate edition comes with Dual Entitlement. This means players can access both versions of the game and switch between them seamlessly.
This is a useful perk for players who plan to upgrade their console during the year, or players who want to experience both versions of the game on current-gen consoles.
With cross-play confirmed for FIFA 23, access to different versions of the game gave players additional benefits, since it let them play against players on different consoles. I think there's a chance this could also be given for the Standard Edition in FC 24 (FIFA 24).
It's anyone's guess what will happen in FC 24 (FIFA 24), but on top of these, I expect more perks and card opportunities to come...
