To celebrate the game's launch, a tour spanning from Madrid to New York, Sydney to Riyadh, Paris to London and beyond took place, with the excitement joined not only by current football stars including FC 25 cover athletes Jude Bellingham and Aitana Bonmatí, but also legends like Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, and Didier Drogba. These big stars got the chance to try out the latest game in the long-running series ahead of today's official launch. As football's top athletes, streamers, creators, and cultural icons competed against each other in 5v5 Rush tournaments at events around the world, the flagship event in Madrid closed out with a live performance by reggaeton legend J Balvin, the artist behind the official EA SPORTS FC 25 soundtrack presented by Spotify.

EA SPORTS FC Vice President and General Manager John Shepherd said, "I'm proud of the entire effort to deliver the next chapter in football's new formula with FC 25, including our most social experience yet with Rush across our global studio teams." He continued, "Players will see a complete overhaul of tactics, strategy, and authenticity with FC IQ, alongside a competitive experience unlike anything they've had before. On top of that, for the first time in a football game, we're bringing women's football onto the pitch in EA SPORTS FC 25 with an authentic Career experience that lets us achieve game mode parity between men's and women's football."

A Whole New Way to Play and Win with Rush

Integrated into Ultimate Team, Clubs, Kick-Off, and Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 25, Rush is a brand-new 5v5 experience that uses the same game controls and real football mechanics as 11v11 matches. Players can take to the pitch in groups of four with their friends and an AI-controlled goalkeeper to test their skills across various game types. Offering a single-player, fast-paced experience in Manager Career, Rush lets players take control of their Youth Academy's development throughout the season with new 5v5 tournaments.

FC IQ Takes World-Class Play to the Next Level

FC IQ overhauls the game's tactical fundamentals to deliver more strategic control, smarter teammates, individual Player Roles, and more authentic collective movement in every 11v11 match. A new AI model backed by real-world data from some of football's best teams, FC IQ influences how players think and behave on the pitch through brand-new Player Roles. Team tactics and more realistic collective movement modernize positioning at both ends of the pitch, changing how every team plays and delivering more variety from match to match.
