Euro 2020 Will Not Be in FIFA 21

Will the Euro 2020 Finals Be Left Out of FIFA 21?

EA Sports has a long relationship with major international tournaments, producing officially licensed football video games for a series of World Cups and European Championships.

FIFA 18 had a 2018 World Cup expansion download, while FIFA 16 had no Euro 2016 mode, and this summer there will be no Euro 2020 download for FIFA 21.

Why Is Euro 2020 Not in FIFA 21?

In a disappointment for the franchise's loyal fans, the latest FIFA 21 update will not include the Euro 2020 tournament.

The reason is that EA Sports' rival Konami secured an exclusive partnership with UEFA to make eFootball PES 2020 the official European Championship video game. The postponement of the tournament to summer 2021 allowed it to be added as a mode in eFootball PES 2021.

The partnership between Konami and UEFA was first announced in August 2019, and the new eFootball PES 2021 season update included the Euro 2020 tournament from its launch.

Instead of releasing a new version of Pro Evolution Soccer, the 2021 edition was released as a Season Update for PES 2020, and Konami confirmed that the update "will include the latest player and club data for the new season and the exclusive Euro 2020 mode."

Konami also made an official licensing deal with UEFA for Euro 2016, releasing standalone physical and digital copies alongside a downloadable update.

With Gareth Bale as its cover star, that game had 15 officially licensed teams, and the remaining nine teams appeared as generic versions of themselves.

What Will Be in the eFootball PES 2021 Euro 2020 Update?

• The Euro 2020 competition in Cup Mode.
• All 55 UEFA national teams
• The latest kits and squads
• Wembley Stadium
• St.Petersburg Stadium
• The official Henri Delaunay trophy
• The official Euro 2020 matchday ball

The Euro 2020 version of eFootball PES 2021 will let players play their own version of the UEFA European Championship, and they will be able to do so with any of the federation's 55 member teams.

The latest kits and squads will be offered, along with additions such as Saint Petersburg Stadium and Wembley Stadium, which will host the semifinals and the final.

As part of the immersive experience, the game update will feature the official Euro 2020 matchday ball, as well as the Henry Delaunay trophy, a realistic representation of the tournament trophy.

The update is expected to be released after all 24 participants have named their squads for the tournament, and it will then be reflected in the in-game squads in eFootball PES 2021.

How Can I Get the eFootball PES Euro 2020 Game?

To play the Euro 2020 eFootball PES game, you can buy eFootball PES 2021 either as a standalone game or as a Season Update download for PES 2020.

Because this year's edition of Pro Evolution Soccer is an update rather than a brand-new game, it is cheaper than usual.

Konami decided not to release a full game this year, because the release of eFootball PES 2022 will let them focus entirely on developing the best possible game for next-generation consoles.

When Does Euro 2020 Start?

Euro 2020 will start on June 11, 2021, and end on July 11, 2021.

The tournament was originally planned to take place in June and July 2020, but UEFA had to postpone it because of the severity of the global coronavirus pandemic.
