Getting through Squad Battles and completing promotion goals has been quite a grind lately. That's why EA Sports is adding a major quality of life update to Squad Battles in the new EA FC era. "Community feedback on Squad Battles was that matches were too long. We're happy to announce that in EA SPORTS FC™ 24, we're reducing the length of each half from 6 minutes to 4 minutes, a major upgrade that cuts total match time by four minutes. Squad Battles can remain the game mode where players hope to reach their goals quickly without wasting time while climbing the Rivals ladder or qualifying for Weekend League" EA Sports said in the announcement.

What Is FC 24 Squad Battles?

Squad Battles is, in short, a great game mode for players to easily complete goals, sharpen their skills against AI, and earn some rewards. To go into more detail, Squad Battles is one of the three leading Ultimate Team game modes alongside Rivals and Champions. Players compete against a chosen AI difficulty to earn points. These points are then used to determine what rewards players get at the end of a week. Rewards are updated throughout the year. The mode is mainly played to complete objectives whenever convenient.
