When Will FIFA 22 Come Out?

First, the release date. FIFA 22 will be released on October 1 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Switch (legacy). The new-console price of the game was announced abroad as 70 dollars. This is considered FIFA 22's first release, and players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will have access to some exciting new gameplay upgrades not available on PC or last-generation consoles.

What Is FIFA 22 HyperMotion? What Does It Do?

At the top of the list is the new HyperMotion animation system. HyperMotion is a machine learning algorithm that writes new animations in real time based on 8.7 million match capture data points. These matches are played by professional footballers all wearing Xsens motion capture suits, and EA says it captured an "unprecedented amount of high-quality real human motion data".

In FIFA 22 there are more than 4,000 new animations based on data from the 22 footballers who played the game.

AI has also been improved, so individual players can now better understand formations, letting them make more informed decisions on attack and build-up play and move tactically as a unit in defense.

On the new consoles, FIFA 22 will also include more synchronized player animations to improve aerial movements and headers, and some ambient player animations to make them feel more human. The game trailer for FIFA 22 will be shown on July 20 as part of EA Play Live Spotlight.

Gameplay and Graphics Upgrades

The main selling point in FIFA 22's reveal trailer was HyperMotion technology on the next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

EA claims HyperMotion technology "advances the game with groundbreaking next-generation HyperMotion gameplay technology that elevates every moment on the pitch".

To make matches more realistic than ever, it uses machine learning along with 11v11 motion capture data and adds more than 4,000 new animations to the game compared with last year.

To improve realism even further and make matches feel more dynamic, AI has been improved in attack and defense.

HyperMotion technology is only available on next-generation consoles, but PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will include all the other game changes, including improvements in Ultimate Team, VOLTA and Career Mode.

Career Mode Improvements

After Ultimate Team, Career Mode is the most popular game mode in FIFA every year.

EA Sports has not yet announced many new changes for Career Mode in FIFA 22, but the UEFA Conference League will definitely be added as the third European continental competition.

EA Sports has exclusive rights to UEFA club tournaments and will add the Conference League to Career Mode and Kick-Off matches as a new addition.

Player Career has been expanded for FIFA 22 with the tagline "more ways to progress, achieve and get immersed in your own Pro player's journey in the game".

In addition, you will now be able to "Create a Club" to replace an existing team in the game and lead them to domestic and continental glory.

An official statement said: “From relegation candidates to global giants”, which may be a good sign that your custom team will start from the bottom of the table whichever league or leagues you join, and you will have to work your way up from there.

Create Your Own Kits in FIFA 22 Career Mode

FIFA 22 Career Mode will also let players customize their own kits. Whether this is only for newly created clubs or for existing teams on a season-by-season basis has not been announced.

Create a Stadium

EA also confirmed that players will be able to build their own bespoke stadiums, which - based on the idea of progressing through the lower leagues - would suggest that arena upgrades can be made over time.

This is a feature FIFA players have been asking for for years, and it will be interesting to see how it plays.

European Football in FIFA 22 Career Mode

Will the Europa Conference League Be in FIFA 22?

Yes – on July 11, EA confirmed with a press release that the Europa Conference League will be available in FIFA 22.

Will the Europa League Be in FIFA 22?

Yes – Just as in FIFA 21, the UEFA Europa League will be in FIFA 22 Career Mode.

Will the Champions League Be in FIFA 22?

Yes – Similar to FIFA 21, the UEFA Champions League license will be in FIFA 22 Career Mode.

FIFA 22 Player Career Changes

Big Player Career changes have been announced by EA, and the mode is set to get its biggest update in years.

The developers promised us an "overhauled" experience, with a full showcase and pitch notes expected in late July. Given that the mode has not seen significant change in the last few years, this could be a breath of fresh air for those who prefer it to FUT.

We are excited by the statement that there should be “more ways to progress, achieve and get immersed in your Pro's journey”, but like "Create a Club", we do not yet know exactly what this means.

What Are the Changes in VOLTA in FIFA 22?

VOLTA was introduced as a way to bring back FIFA Street and has been one of the main story modes for the last two seasons.

FIFA 22 will bring a brand-new story as well as more online and offline improvements.

EA Sports confirmed that a "Full Reveal" for VOLTA is coming soon.

FIFA 22 Leagues and Competitions

One of FIFA's biggest selling points every year is realism, and this will stay the same for FIFA 22.

Fans hope new leagues, including the Indian Super League and the National League Conference, will be added to FIFA 22, but so far EA Sports has not commented on whether new domestic competitions will be introduced.

The UEFA Conference League is considered certain to be added for its first season and to be an important part of Career Mode.
