FUT Heroes promo, made up of FUT Heroes cards already in Ultimate Team like David Ginola and Joe Cole that receive new upgraded cards, launched last Friday. Alongside it, the promo also includes an entirely new team of current players who are captains for their clubs or countries, featuring various boosted stats. EA is also releasing new SBCs along with pack rewards and players every day.

The FIFA 22 FUT Captains promo is live now, and leaks on social media have revealed that Juventus and Italy captain Giorgio Chiellini is coming to the game via a Squad Building Challenge (SBC).

Here it is: the new FUT Captains card leaked by trusted FIFA source FUTSheriff is Giorgio Chiellini. As you can see in the tweet itself, the stats aren't final, but it gives you a good idea of what the veteran Italian defender's card might look like in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. According to the leak, we'll see the SBC hit our screens tonight. Juventus is an excellent team in this game with very good links, and Serie A teams are also very popular, so we're guessing this SBC will be popular since it could slot into a lot of squads.

Giorgio Chiellini's Captaincy Career

Chiellini is captain of both Juventus and the Italian national team. He was bought by Juventus in 2005 after an impressive season with Roma in Serie A. He began playing regularly under Fabio Capello and has since become one of the most important players on the Juventus team. On June 29, 2018, following Gianluigi Buffon's departure, Chiellini was given a two-year contract extension and named the club's new captain. He has been Juve's captain ever since, and even though he's now 37, he hasn't lost a step. As for his national team career, Chiellini first captained the side in 2012 — but his fellow captain at the time was Gianluigi Buffon. Since Buffon's retirement from international football, Chiellini has taken the front seat and become the man who always wears the armband whenever he plays.
