Goalkeepers and Defenders
Nick Pope has the strongest case in the league given Newcastle United's push for a Champions League spot. He's tied with Manchester United's David De Gea, but Newcastle also has the league's best defensive record so far this season, having conceded just 21 goals. That's 16 fewer goals than Manchester United have conceded. Left-back is a tough call between Zinchenko and Newcastle United's Dan Burn, but given how much Zinchenko has transformed Arsenal's squad, he edges out Burn. Gabriel has been rock-solid at LCB for the Gunners, and while most Man City fans might argue John Stones has been the league's best defender all season as City continue to fight on the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League fronts, the league's best RB is Kieran Trippier.
Midfielders
Odegaard is considered the favorite for Player of the Year, De Bruyne is still one of the best players in the world pulling the strings for City, and together with Rodri he's the one linking play up to Haaland.
Attack
Haaland has scored 30 goals this season with nine matches still to go. Rashford has been Manchester United's best player all season, and Bukayo Saka is also in the conversation for POTY.
Substitutes
Martinelli, Casemiro, Grealish, and Kane can be considered the players on the bench.
