FM24 Real Madrid's 21 Wonderkids for the Future!
Real Madrid is usually known for buying players, but according to Football Manager 2024, the club has a significant number of talented young players. The club with the most trophies in Champions League history has been home to many of the greatest players in football, from Cristiano Ronaldo to Zinedine Zidane. In recent years, Real Madrid has stood out more for its identity as a developer of talent, and if it trains some of these prospects properly, they could become huge players themselves, even if not quite on the level of the very greatest.
FM24 Real Madrid's Most Promising Young Talents!
Ferran Quetglas
Quetglas was transferred from Real Mallorca in 2022, and it was Madrid that snatched the young goalkeeper from right under Barcelona's nose.
At 1.90m tall, with good agility and reflexes, Quetglas has the potential to be a solid squad member at the Bernabeu throughout the 2020s.
Jacobo Ramon
Ramon, who currently plays for Real Madrid Castilla, has plenty of Real fans and supporters who think Carlo Ancelotti should promote him to the first team right away.
The 18-year-old has a potential ability of 78 in FM2024, which means he should be able to hold his own in most La Liga matches.
Ariel
Born in March 2007, Ariel joined Madrid this summer and has a potential rating of 77 in this year's Football Manager.
Part of Spain's U17 squad, if Ariel's development isn't satisfying it won't be too hard to sell the young centre-back. He's sure to do plenty of good work at a lower-calibre club too.
Montolio
A product of Elche's academy, Montolio signed for the world's biggest club in the summer of 2022.
Just 16 years old, Montolio looks to have a bright future ahead of him, and his place on this list shows the Football Manager developers agree.
Elyaz Zidane
17-year-old Elyaz is the son of Zinedine Zidane and already features for France's youth national team.
Emanuel
Born in Brazil, Emanuel moved to Spain with his family in 2018 and has a potential of 79 in the latest version of Football Manager.
This quick right-back has already shone at Rayo Vallecano and Getafe and has the potential to be an assist machine. Don't leave him on the reserve bench all the time, or if you need a full-back make sure you add him to your list ;)
Roi Torres
Another talented right-back in Madrid's squad, Torres is definitely best used as an inverted wing-back. That means Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta will especially be queuing up to sign this 17-year-old, so start setting your price now.
Jesus Fortea
Fortea signed his first professional contract with Madrid in April 2023, and having apparently grown tired of Atletico's long-running "shut-up-shop" mentality, controversially moved across the city to their rivals.
Worth it? The right-back, currently only 16, has put in impressive performances in appearances for older age groups and is being mentored by former Liverpool, Madrid, and Spain defender Alvaro Arbeloa.
Eduardo Camavinga
Madrid has a few of the brightest talents in the world, and Camavinga looks to have an enormous future ahead of him.
He definitely won't come cheap in FM24, but of course he'll be one of the best players in the game.
The French international is contracted to Real Madrid until 2027, and you may have to break the bank to get him. Still, he's definitely worth it.
Jude Bellingham
Forget the future, Bellingham is already one of the best players in the world right now. He doesn't need many words. No need to explain, you're watching it happen :)
Diego Martinez Beto
With a potential rating of 81 in FM24, Beto could be a real edge for anyone brave enough to manage Madrid.

Nico Paz
Spain and Argentina have both fought over Paz for his national team, which makes sense given how good he could turn out to be.
The son of former footballer Pablo Paz, Paz is an extremely modern midfielder with a rating of 85, and he played for the first team last season in a friendly against Getafe; after the potential he showed, Ancelotti will likely call on him again.
Jose
Jose, the son of Jose Antonio Reyes, who tragically died in a car accident in 2019, signed his first professional contract with Madrid in October 2023.
He wrote on social media: "A very special moment for me, I signed my first professional contract with Real Madrid, and I want to thank the club for their trust in me, and thank my family for their daily support!
"I'll keep working hard and pushing myself to be the best!"
With a potential rating of 80 in FM24, the son of the Arsenal and Madrid hero could well follow in his father's footsteps.
Peter
"In the 2013/14 season, when he was still just a 12-year-old kid..." said coach Xavi García Ferre about Peter.
"From the very first moment, you could see he was a player who made a difference; he played purely on talent in a way that's more typical of Brazil.
"He never hesitated to take on his opponents fearlessly, and he felt different from a lot of the kids I'd seen before. I knew straight away he'd turn professional; I had no doubts about that."
A potential rating of 81 suggests he could become a very useful player.
Gonzalo Garcia
Gonzalo Garcia is already on the verge of Madrid's first team after standout performances for Castilla.
With the same potential as Peter, Gonzalo can be used to bulk out your first-team squad or to earn good money on the transfer market.
Erik Vazquez
Vazquez developed at Girona and is currently one of Spain's most promising young wingers.
The Spanish wonderkid has been dominating his age group for the past few years and has attracted scouts who came to watch him play for Girona's various youth teams.
There's one more of the most important wonderkids you need to develop in FM24, and it's someone we know very well:
Arda Güler
Türkiye's star is genuinely the number one in his age bracket. Real Madrid doesn't spend that kind of money just for him to tie his shoelaces and pull off the occasional dribble, and FM24's editors wouldn't have given him a potential rating over 90 either!
Cesar Palacios
Madrid's academy is excited to show off the potential of Palacios, the brilliant 18-year-old who scored two goals in a stunning 5-0 win over Atletico Madrid last season.
Stylistically, Palacios is a box-to-box midfielder with outstanding work rate. Excellent at finding gaps between the lines, Palacios also stands out for his ability to find teammates with pinpoint passes. His potential rating of 80 shows he has a bright future ahead of him in the game's later years.
Alvaro Rodriguez
Another Castilla player on Ancelotti's radar, 19-year-old striker wonderkid Rodriguez shone in brief appearances last season, though he seems to have dipped a bit this season.
Raul recently said: "I was happy about the goal he scored, but we need him to gain a lot more consistency in his weekly work and find his best version."
"He's not ready for more than 45 or 30 minutes, so he's starting on the bench. We hope he can build up more confidence."
With a potential rating of 84 in FM, keep a close eye on his progress and imagine the days ahead when you could sell him for £60 million.
Iker Bravo
Bravo started his career at Barcelona's academy, La Masia, but now brilliantly represents Barça's future — at their arch-rivals Real Madrid instead.
His finishing, ball control, and ability to drop deep make him one of the best players on every youth team he's played for, and he delivers results almost instantly.
And he's learning from Raul. Yes, that Raul, the Real Madrid legend. Sign Iker Bravo without wasting any time.
Noel Lopez
Transferred in 2022 from fallen giants Deportivo La Coruna, Lopez is part of Spain's U19 national team and has a sharp eye for goal.
We haven't even added Endrick to this list yet, even though his move is officially agreed, since he hasn't joined Real Madrid's squad yet. The truth is Real Madrid has a huge pool of young talent for years to come, and with the right planning it will keep hold of top-level players for a long time. When you're looking for young players in Football Manager 2024, make sure you keep an eye on Real Madrid's wonderkids ;)
